Love it. I figured out most of it but the video was very good.
    Two suggestions and questions:
    1. How do you cut the stove pipe vent?
    2. How do you use the rope adjusters?
I used the tent as a sweat-lodge and it worked well, 107 F and 86% humidity with no problems and very good venting.
I can’t wait to use this tent this winter.
    Thanks,

That may work well here in Texas during our winter months. Will need to check this light weight hot tent out. Cool beans!

Aaaargh ! 😆 I can't make a decision witch pomoly tent I want. I love the tipi versions but also the fort/baker style tents. Gives wild West feel to it. Currently still running the classic polish lavvu. But in summer time i don't like the creepy crawlers(ticks). So I mostly do hammock camping. But the half inner mesh tent concept I dig for the summer. I like canvas but lighter material is also nice.

5.2 lbs isn't light for a 1p tent, but it certainly looks durable and can be used as a hot tent which is a bonus

I'd probably also guess that waterproofing doesn't matter too much as a soaking will be dried out from the fire?

Doesn’t the tent material behind the stove get damaged(overheated)where it’s closest ?

    Another very informative video 👏
Really appreciated 2 key points to save time and frustration for me. 1. The top cap. Good to know about possible configuration issues.
    2. The versatility of the mesh inner, being able to be used with trekking pole.
That being said, you mentioned it could be used with a tarp in a plouh point configuration. Any chance we can see a video of this inner being setup with your Pomoly Wolf’s Den Canvas tarp? 🤞

Nice tent Jeremy, really like how you can use the mesh inner by itself. I wonder if I can do that with my Pomoly Hex? I didn't get a chance to use it last winter. Don't remember if there was reinforcement on the top of the inner tent. Maybe I can try some tarp camping this summer using that inner. Thanks for the video.👍

What tent do you think keeps in heat better the pomoly hex or the nortent gamme 4

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  3 роки тому

Good question, the truth is no tent holds heat. As soon as the fire goes out its right back to freezing cold again in the winter within 5 minutes. As for when the stove is burning all tents stay very hot depending on the stove size and damper setting as well as fuel type. Years of experience makes this very easy

Why does promoly's website have so many grammatical errors and even a few spelling mistakes? The grammar makes it's seem like a foreign company trying to squeeze in.

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping

It is a language difference. Words don't always translate the same in english
