How to make your Reciva internet radio work again

Got a Reciva network internet radio that doesn't seem to receive radio stations anymore? That's because the Reciva network was switched off in 2021. But all is not always lost -- on many Reciva radios you can still play your saved-to-a-preset channels. This video, using an old Goodmans internet radio, shows you the basic procedure. The same is true of Some Logik radios as well as others.

i have 4 or 5 digital radios around the house, they do nothing now, its a absolute disgrace what Reciva have done

Thank you for sharing this. On my Tangent Quattro, I just ignore the error messages and press my preset station twice. That works. My friend does something like this on his Grace Digital.

And thanks for sharing that tip. On another model, a LOGIK, pressing Back twice and then the presets worked until yesterday in the same way as with the Goodmans unit in this video. It might be the case that the existing presets stop working in the near future because the stream address or type changes or because some token or key expires. When that happens, if it does, the presets won't work anymore unless a way is found to change the streaming address memorised by the preset. I don't yet know how to do that. If anyone has had success in adding a new station to a preset on a Reciva-aggregated internet radio, please post. Technically, it should not be possible because the aggregator is off, afaik. But there may be a way somehow to workaround. As I typed this I checked my radios and they are not receiving anything now. That may be a local issue, but I will pin a post to report this in case everyone else finds the same problem now.

I also have a Tangent Quattro; the double press technique works for me.
What I am also doing is using an inexpensive RCA tablet (Android device) as a tuner for my Quattro for new stations. I use VRadio or Tunein as my streaming source. An obsolete smartphone would probably work equally well.

Mine are still working 7 January 2022 on the presets. If you have a LOGIK radio, the preset thing needs only one Back button press. If a TANGENT QUATTRO, press the preset twice (similar on popular US model GRACE DIGITAL). But at the moment, 07.01.2022, not sure if it's all off everywhere or just here.
