What's also cool about this special new mexico event, before the burning staff have what's called "The gloom box" were we can write down various things that trouble us, then we place the notes in the gloom box then is taken by the builders of Zozobra who place the thousands of notes inside Zozobra's 50ft tall body where they are burned away, which you can actually see the notes flying off burning away, that's truly the meaning of Zozobra is burning away evil so we can have a happier year and celebrate

My parents and I just went to the burning of Zozobra on Friday and we were truly amazed. We came from where live in El Paso, TX and stayed at a Comfort Suites in Albuquerque. What made this lighting so much more amazing was the lightning and rain. It was like all of the four elements in one burning (air, water, Earth, and fire). I don't think I've seen so many fireworks either, it was just incredible. I got back home today and hopefully I get to check it out again soon. Great video!

On that very night on august, old man gloom awoke and sent thunder into the skies. But it did not end pleasant for him.
Yeah it was the first time it rained in the 3yrs I went to Zozobra, I think it gave it more of a creepy ambience, I hope you enjoyed my video, I'm really looking forward to The Burning Of Zozobra 2019 coming soon in Septumber I think, I'm gonna get as close as I can this year to flim, so stay tuned my friend!

O yeah about Zozobra his voice is done by a real man we can't see who has a microphone hooked up to big speakers and he himself makes all the voice effects for Zozobra, I really love Zozobra it's an amazing show every year
