The rainbow hand that represents our Covenant with God was probably a hand and not just a rainbow because it was to show an action-that action being it “holding up” something (note the woman with all the symbols standing on the hand). It’s not your average Christian cover art (pretty sure that was entire point), but it’s not wrong when you ask God to open your eyes. Their channel is legit as is their whole mission statement. Please, if you really don’t believe they’re doing the right thing, do a heart check-what are your reasons? Have you talked with God about it? What has He said? What his Word said? Think of it like this: we read from the ESV translation of the Bible and people get angry because they’re saying you’re adding and/or taking away from God’s word instead of reading in its “original” translation-or better yet, in its Hebrew and Greek format. Over analyzing this won’t lead you into His presence or make you more Christian, it makes you sound religious. I'm about opening up to new ideas as long as they're in line with what the Bible states. His music is fine, awesome and well written. It does glorify God but in his Instagram he says that he is a mystic and a follower of christ. He says he reads occultism and says the symbolic is alright and he uses it to portray Christianity and not the bible. Christianity has occultism and mystism as well it is true and has already infiltrated churches. You are totally allowed to critizise occultism/mystism if you want. They are not judging they are criticizing Christianity and pagan tradition and symbolism. He also uses Christian symbolism and that is fine by itself. I question the choice of the skirt/dress, plus the symbolism behind the arrow and crown. More than likely that thing that “feels off to you” is your cultural worldview lens. A lot of young untrained missionaries not culturally educated have that same experience. The temptation is to feel that the cultures of the people they minister to are less than theirs and they subconsciously deem them wrong just because they are different than what they have grown up in. Sometimes we can be so closed off to the diversity of God’s beautiful world because we are only in homogenized church circles. Unlearning that bias is a lifelong process but it becomes harmful when we claim it’s actually spiritual discernment. Spiritual discernment is the ability to see spiritual principalities behind things while also seeing the treasures in different cultural practices. Just because they are different than yours doesn’t mean they are non christian and not pleasing to God. Our visuals are inspired by many different cultures outside of the normal western Eurocentric art you are used to seeing in most CCM visuals. It’s challenging -and hopefully expanding- your cultural worldview and that’s a good thing. God is bigger and much more culturally inclusive than we realize.

The rainbow hand that represents our Covenant with God was probably a hand and not just a rainbow because it was to show an action-that action being it “holding up” something (note the woman with all the symbols standing on the hand). It’s not your average Christian cover art (pretty sure that was entire point), but it’s not wrong when you ask God to open your eyes. Their channel is legit as is their whole mission statement. Please, if you really don’t believe they’re doing the right thing, do a heart check-what are your reasons? Have you talked with God about it? What has He said? What his Word said?
Think of it like this: we read from the ESV translation of the Bible and people get angry because they’re saying you’re adding and/or taking away from God’s word instead of reading in its “original” translation-or better yet, in its Hebrew and Greek format. Over analyzing this won’t lead you into His presence or make you more Christian, it makes you sound religious. Please be careful of how you respond to other people who are singing for God and it’s not what you imagined in your own borders of what Christianity actually IS. Thank you
HiddenTalent Believe me. I don't think anyone in the comment section is trying to see Ecclesia's cover art in a negative way. But many people like myself are still confused. I'm about opening up to new ideas as long as they're in line with what the Bible states. It's not a matter of what we believe they're doing is wrong or right, but whether, we just want to know WHAT they're trying to do. (I'll go check out their channel myself to get the answer.)

His music is fine, awesome and well written. It does glorify God but in his Instagram he says that he is a mystic and a follower of christ. He says he reads occultism and says the symbolic is alright and he uses it to portray Christianity and not the bible.
Christianity has occultism and mystism as well it is true and has already infiltrated churches. You are totally allowed to critizise occultism/mystism if you want. They are not judging they are criticizing Christianity and pagan tradition and symbolism. He also uses Christian symbolism and that is fine by itself. You can use symbolism but you shouldn't use satanic symbolism in the same context. Satan has already infiltrated the common and pagan church with mystism.
I hope he will repent of mystism and turn to biblical symbolism and not worldly symbolism.
In these videos his symbolism is absolutely fine I wouldn't criticize anything. He still is involving himself with mystism and that is bad and he needs a prayer for understanding what is right and wrong before God.

There has been so many comments about the art. Is it evil, is it new age, is it Christian? These artists are lifting up God and for the record...the rainbow started with God and will always belong to God as a reminder of His promise. I really don't care who else uses it. I know why I use and recognize it.

I question the choice of the skirt/dress, plus the symbolism behind the arrow and crown. Things like this makes us listener question where your coming from and what message you're carrying with the music. Great lyrics and all but do an interview on the choices of the album cover for wake up and how that came to be the final decision.

Yeah. This video has actually been altered. Before it was just album art all the way through and then the Satan moved into their music and started putting spells curses and witchcraft/illuminati mess all over their music.

More than likely that thing that “feels off to you” is your cultural worldview lens. A lot of young untrained missionaries not culturally educated have that same experience. The temptation is to feel that the cultures of the people they minister to are less than theirs and they subconsciously deem them wrong just because they are different than what they have grown up in. Sometimes we can be so closed off to the diversity of God’s beautiful world because we are only in homogenized church circles. Unlearning that bias is a lifelong process but it becomes harmful when we claim it’s actually spiritual discernment. Spiritual discernment is the ability to see spiritual principalities behind things while also seeing the treasures in different cultural practices. Just because they are different than yours doesn’t mean they are non christian and not pleasing to God. Our visuals are inspired by many different cultures outside of the normal western Eurocentric art you are used to seeing in most CCM visuals. It’s challenging -and hopefully expanding- your cultural worldview and that’s a good thing. God is bigger and much more culturally inclusive than we realize.
Don't blame you for feeling weird about it. But from what I hear it's to represent God's Mosaic Covenant. So all good lol.
