It is three in the morning and i was listening to the album when the holy spirit came over me, i started weeping and sobbing, because recently i had defeated pornography but i kept on falling into temptation, but this album helped me remember that God is above my flaws and addictions. I saw God’s love through your voice and cinematography thank you for accepting your calling. Sondae your talent is amazing, it is not by your flesh and blood but by our heavenly father. I have listened to this album at least 8 times and I have been listening to Sondae's music for more than a year. It seems to me that his music gets better and better after every release. Not only is his music reaching greater heights but I have noticed how his lyrics have more of the gospel in them. He rejoices, cries, preaches, teaches and paints with his lyrics the message of Christ in creative nuanced ways. He doesn't seem to run out of ways of expressing the gospel. I remember seeing Sondae on spotify and skipping past him thinking he was one of those artists who created music that was not really “biblical” but I recently listen to one of his songs (Jesus sometimes i…) and I think the Lord is using him to help me. It reminded me that it’s ok to struggle and no longer want to endure. Its really helped me to get that small but might gist to get up and pray for help ehen im trying to resist temptations but feel like giving up. Or when I feel hopeless that I’ll never get out of sin (of course with other songs too). I hope that God continues to use you to make music that comes from the heart, not for fame or to please the world, but truth. Please don’t stop trusting God and allowing His will to be fulfilled through you. I believe he is using you in many ways to help others. You are probably doing more than you realise for some of us and I pray you continue this journey with God in humility and surrender. To God be the glory in these songs.
You ever have that fear of listening to a new album because you're scared it's not gonna hit? Yeah, I feared fro no reason. All the songs are saves😭❤. Sondae never misses👌🏽. After listening to the entire album, I can say that so far, Cornerstone is my favourite (it changes all the time) but it just sticks out to me. I just love this WHOLE ALBUM😭😭😭.
