Its took 4 years to make season 2, so basically, Reiner hit eren sooo hard, he flew back 4 years worth of flashbacks. XD

The reason Reiner exposed them is because he was having a mental breakdown, the whole build up to the reveal is us seeing his mental health deteriorating (him talking about almost dying twice, he’s had no sleep, food or water in the past 2 days and doesn’t know what’s happened to Annie), he truly believed Eren would’ve went with him just because they were friends.
Basically the double agent life ain’t for him

What I love about this fight the most was how it showed that just because Eren had the rage and will to fight, it doesn't mean that's enough to win. Against Reiner, no matter how much determination he has to take Reiner down, it isn't enough up against his armor and brute strength. It isn't until Eren actually calms down and apply the techniques he learned from Annie, does he start kicking Reiner's ass. Such a hype moment for me when that happened!
Exactly. Pretty much the same way Annie clapped Eren, considering her titan wasn't as physically strong. Just goes to show that technique can literally outmatch brute strength.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 And it's why compared to Annie, Reiner isn't that much of a threat. He may be armored yeah but there are ways to get past that, as seen here. And once past that, he's basically just brute strength. Annie was more threatening and scarier because she could actually fight and excelled at it too.

As an mma fan, this is one of my favorite episodes of the show. The use of jiu jitsu is perfect, and the transition to a guillotine that Eren did when Reiner took him down reminds me of Dustin vs Khabib.

Nobody talks about Mikasas look right after of jealousy. Armin notices and distracts her.
The anime doesn’t mention on this but Eren was ranked number 1 I think in hand to hand mainly due to Annie teaching him a lot during their cadet years, don’t sleep on his hand to hand.
The anime also skipped all of Annie and Eren's interactions that made people ship them back then.

Grappling is key to defeating armored opponents, Annie was actually a harder opponent than Reiner (not literally lol)
Annie was a martial arts master and was very quick even in her Titan form. She is the 2nd most dangerous Titan besides The Beast Titan.

As for the beast titan his ability to create on control titan seems to be the users blood it self and not the titan. The beast titan is actually considered one of the weaker one but his user is so good that he ends up being the most threatening with people saying the colossal titan would've been better with him.

The stance Annie have when she is fighting, is a stance of muay thai. Maybe that because his kicks are so estrong (the muay thai have strongest Kick), But I can say she know judo and self defense training. Good reaction. Annie really have dangerous skills.
