Keller Magnum Birch Custom w/ Evans heads (Hydraulic Black + Resonant Black)
Mics:
BD - AKG D112, SD - Beyerdynamic Opus 88, Toms - Audio Technica Pro-35, Overheads - t.bone SCT140, HH/Ride - Beyerdynamic MCE 530
Preamps: SM Pro Audio EP84 ADAT
Interface: M-Audio Profire 2626
Mixing:
Drumset mixed in Cockos Reaper mostly with plugins from IK Multimedia and Waves.
The miced signals (BD, SD and Toms) are software-triggered by Toontracks Drumtracker and processed by Superior Drummer w/ Metal Foundry. The output from Superior Drummer is mixed 60/40% with the real (and mixed) sound of the mics. All "room mics" (OH, Hats and Ride) are 100% miced sound (since you cannot trigger cymbals). No hardware triggers are used to maintain dynamics better. What you see is what you hear :)

I love this video man. People don't seem to realize that just because you modified the way your drums sound doesn't mean you didn't play what was in the recording. In any recording, the natural sound of an instrument is changed anyway, because the musician wanted it to sound a certain way. You get what you get when listening to music, and got to hear an awesome metal drum interpretation.
