Well it's never too late to find one that does :) With any doctor, there are many factors that influence care with time and attention being important ones. I wish you the best going forward!
You could adjust mine 50 times a day it won’t stay. I don’t think Drs realize just how much the si moves. Mine pops 20 times a day loud and hard it would astonish you. I’m certain I have SIJD which caused severe trochanter bursitis. Sometimes when I can adjust it just right I get some relief. But within a few small movements it will be out of place again. This is how I know I need it locked in place or something. But I’ve read so many bad stories on Ifuse failing and being a sham. So I’m looking into a procedure called cornerloc. This si joint dysfunction is so painful I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
I'm sorry that you've had such a struggle with SIJ pain. Sometimes manipulation isn't the best treatment and patients respond better to strengthening and stabilization (exercises) without manipulation. It may be something to try if you haven't yet.
OMG this has just happened to me and it sounds like exactly what I'm dealing with. It got so bad I can't eat I couldn't even get up off the floor. After I painfully manoeuvre to stand up right I had to keep my fist in to keep my S I am place while I shuffled around the room slowly. I'm in so much pain and I'm hoping the anti-inflammatories will take some pain away tonight when I sleep. Is the SI really this finicky that it just moves around all the time? I didn't realise it was such a literal pain in the ass!
@@underratedunity1528 Try an SI Joint belt. Ive been wearing one now a week, 24 hrs a day. Night and day difference. I''m not far behind you on the pain scale. There is apparently a "correct" way to wear it, but that actually makes mine worse after a day. I have to wear it lower over the little humps wear the leg joint is. Also to tight is bad, medium light tension, for me atleast.
It can help restore motion/reduce pain but is much more effective when followed with stabilization or mobility exercises. Rehab should almost always be a part of the treatment plan in my opinion if the goal is to get long lasting change.
Do you have any exercises you could recommend? I go to a chiropractor that puts my SI back in place every month but not even a week later it’s out again. It gets so frustrating and affects my weight lifting when I am always off centered
I would argue, theoretically, that the SI isn't going out of place but instead is not being stabilized well and thus causes pain and limitations. Motor control and stability exercises for the core and hip typically yield really good results for SI joint issues. I often give patients a side bridge exercise progression.
@boominda channa Stability exercises for the lumbar spine, pelvis, and hips are usually appropriate but it varies from patient to patient based on the findings of their exam. Hopefully that answered your question somewhat. I'm sorry, it's really hard to give specific advise without having examined the patient.
I'm sorry to hear that. A great chiropractor can be an awesome resource to give you relief and guide you through a rehab strategy of stretching, strengthening, and motor control exercises. I wish you the best and really hope you get over it soon!
I have pain in my sacrum. Also sometimes pain goes in tail bone sides what it can be. Please help me is it si related pain or something else. Which exercise i can do ro get relief from this. Please help me i am in severe pain
Could be. I’ve been having this issue for the past year. Finally found an Orthopedic Doctor who did some imaging and says it’s my SI Joint. It feels like it “locks” up, that part of my lower back feels very stiff, if I sit too long and like it has to pop, and sometimes it does pop while I’m walking. Hard to lay on my back and sit if I’m putting pressure in that region. I also get pain/burning/numbness that radiates out from my SI Joint into my butt. Sometimes have weakness in my legs and like they’re going to give out. Have trouble standing for too long, I start feeling a lot of pressure in my SI Joint area. When it was at its worst I felt Sciatica-like pain in my leg. I do get pain near my tailbone at times, too, and my groin. He referred me to a Chiropractor and PT. Only way to know for sure and to rule other things out is to go to an Orthopedic Doctor. I tried exercises and stretches before I knew what it was and felt like it made it much worse, so I’m waiting for the Chiropractor and PT before I do anything else.
I'd recommend seeing a Chiro to have it evaluated and determine what's causing the pain. From there you'll be able to initiate a treatment plan to fix the issue. I wish you the best in your recovery!
Is it normal that I am able to do this myself with ease. I’ve been to the chiropractor before and I had pretty bad si joint pain. I usually do this adjustment you show here myself but also it cracks when I cross my legs and push them out. Sometimes it just randomly happens too
That's a great question! If your DC isn't giving you strength and stability exercises to be doing at home then that would surprise me. I give all my patients home exercise programs.
I have a issue with my SI and on my right side, I can actually feel it sticking out further then the one on the left, would you suggest a chiropractic correction?
I can't give you any specific advise since you're not a patient, but I can tell you that chiropractors treat patients with SI joint problems all the time, if not every day. I always advise doing research and making sure to find a rehab based chiropractor who will use exercises as part of their treatment plan. Thanks for watching :)
How do I find a chiropractor in my area that does this type of adjustment? Please I'm begging you, I've been to 4 different chiropractors that are all really good and none of them have done this on my SI
This is called a "side posture adjustment." I suppose you can ask them. Keep in mind that it's only done when indicated and for where it's safe :) Thanks for watching.
Yes, there are many ways to apply manipulation and it is suited specifically to each patient based on their presentation. Thanks for watching and great question!
Chiropractors, like PTs, are unique from one to the other although I wish there wasn't so much variance. I always recommend making sure you find one that will give you a good therapeutic exercise program and has a variety of techniques and therapies to try. Best of luck!
Sir I don't know why my sacroallic joint paint is arising again and again it has been cured thrice but after a couple of weeks the pain starts again please guide me what should I do now????
Make sure you see a good chiropractor, PT, or MD to correctly diagnosis your case and get well rounded treatment plan. It usually takes a mix of exercises, manual therapy, and time to get feeling good again. Best of luck!
@@JasonWilliamsDC-Chiro-Rehab so sir kindly make a video on it and I have mild pain and doctors are saying I don't have any problem please help me overcome this and my age is 15

I'm really sorry to hear you're having SI joint pain. Physical Therapists can also help, usually with exercises and manual therapy, if they're available in your town. Best of luck in your recovery!
First, you have to be sure it's your SI joint. Many other issues can mimic SI joint problems. That's where a good chiro can really help diagnose it correctly. The good news is, that if it's SI joint, most of these complaints respond really well to conservative care like exercises, manipulation, and soft tissue work/dry needling. Best of luck in your recovery!
It's actually a treatment for low back and SI joint pain. The goal is to reduce pain and restore joint motion and the treatment is complimented by a home exercise program to create flexibility, strength, and stability.
It's not always appropriate and determined on a case my case fusion. I've treated patients with lumbar fusion with manipulation, mobilization, or just therapeutic exercise and needling. Treatment is really something that's determined on a case-by-case basis.
It really depends how long someone will get relief. Typically the treatment is used more frequently at first and then less frequent as the condition resolves. Manipulation is a tool to provide movement to joints that are not moving well or have dysfunction. Sometimes folks recover very quickly and other times it takes a bit longer, but for most cases chiropractic care can be very helpful, safe, and affordable. Thanks for watching!
2:03 was his si joint.

Chiropractors are experts on SI joint pain, and chiropractic adjustments are typically a great conservative therapy for most cases!

I wish my Chiropractor took that much time and care and worked on specific areas.

Pushing the si joint down for me is the opposite feeling it doesn’t hurt but that actually relieves my si joint pain.
Sir please make videos on the exercise that should be done which will help to stabilize the si joint.
I work on a video for those! Thanks for the suggestion!

This adjustment is taught by all schools and part of what's called "diversified" chiropractic manipulation technique.
