I've always loved your edits. There is a lovely amount of detail put into these. I especially love the RWS style Percy and Culdee edits. All the effort you put into those in particular really paid off in my eyes.

Thanks, and the reason for the watermarks is because when I initially made some of these I saw them being reposted by others who claimed they'd made them...and even now just the other day I saw someone post one WITH the watermark saying just because they changed it around a bit it was their art. As annoying as the watermarks are they are a necessity to avoid others taking credit for my work

No it shouldn’t. The whole point of that edit was to emulate the CGI version in the model era, not how a realistic version would have looked in the model era.
Dude these are golden I'm feeling all these would have been true if that's what would have happened if the series went exactly off The Railway Series and stuff but yeah I love the show the way it already is but it wouldn't cool at least see the characters that were never featured in any stories in the TV serious and since the show is currently in CGI the only RWS characters they brought into the CGI world is Rex Bert Mike and Flying Scotsman even though he was in the model series but only his tenders were seen anyways I absolutely love these I wish you could do more of these in the future

I matched the blue to the colours used in the RWS drawings but because the model is in shadow in the base image it just looks darker. As for the smaller details it doesn’t need to be 100% accurate, it’s just a fun edit

To be honest I haven't really watched the series at all, since Series 7, although I have watched all the CGI specials up to Journey Beyond Sodor. Whilst I'm always going to be more a fan of the classic series and as a model railway builder myself I'll always think the models are better I can appreciate how they have had to move the series along to keep up with the times, so I don't really get the anger of some fans nor do I condone the attitudes some adopt like they've been dealt a great injustice. But that being said it's a shame that since Mattel acquired it it's become something of a cash cow to them and certainly not what it used to be, and whilst I'm not against it I don't understand the need for all the political correctness/equality in it at a level that younger children won't even notice, let alone understand.
I think your Albert is my favourite because i know how long it takes you to do these and he looks like you had a couple of hours doing him which I appreciate

I really like the RWS designs you incorporated here: * Percy - Looks more visually appealing. * Toby - The blue sideplates stand out really well against the chocolate brown wood. * Daisy, BoCo, Bear & Spamcan - To save time, I'll voice the same opinion for all 4. Love 'em. I don't mind not having the grey faces. Makes them more special. I think I prefer BoCo with half green/ half yellow face. * Culdee - How has the Mountain Railway not been done in CGI yet? They did the Small Railway. No excuses! * The narrow gauge engines - Fantastic! It always bugged me in the episode 'Trucks', where the Slate Trucks attack Peter Sam thinking he was Sir Handel. Morons! They're different colours! In the book, it makes sense with them all being red.

No worries, I did try several different way of trying to make it show up the detailing but it was either a case of having it lighter to show the face but not matching the rest of the smoke box or darker to match but not so much clear detail

As I said in the video, the Flying Scotsman couldn't be fully made due to budget constraints, and even if they'd used a scrap Gordon, they still would have had to repaint it, build an entire chassis, make a new face, all the motors and mechanisms etc...unfortunately it's just not as simple as "making it" it would still cost money they didn't have.

Huh... you know with the Gordon Goes Foreign edit, I kinda like the difference of having the Foreign Engine having German-style smoke deflectors, rather than those of an actual Patriot. It's inaccurate for sure, but it's unique
I know...I literally mention that in the captions at 3:33, although I'm not sure where you get the Scottish twins bit from, it was documented in concept art that Henry's model would be used, but as far as I'm aware the use of either Donald or Douglas's model has never been mentioned and the "source" which the wiki site claims to have gotten this from was a random tweet that has since been deleted
No, Adobe Photoshop is a proper editing suite so depending on what packages you buy it can set you back several hundred pounds, but is it very complex and professional software. For example my edits aren't just copy & paste stuff, there's lots of layering, changing contrast tones, shadowing and ALOT more, it's not something that can really be done in MS Paint

I used Adobe Photoshop for it, which is a proper full image editing suite on a desktop/laptop, so it's not available on mobile devices

D199 should have a lighter blue and on the face, ad bolts.

I just noticed on Trever that Jem Coal (his drive) didn't react well with the recolour (only because he looks darker then normal)
I didn't recolour him, it's likely just the lighting in the base image making him look off-colour

Huh... you know with the Gordon Goes Foreign edit, I kinda like the difference of having the Foreign Engine having German-style smoke deflectors, rather than those of an actual Patriot. It's inaccurate for sure, but it's unique

I know...I literally mention that in the captions at 3:33, although I'm not sure where you get the Scottish twins bit from, it was documented in concept art that Henry's model would be used, but as far as I'm aware the use of either Donald or Douglas's model has never been mentioned and the "source" which the wiki site claims to have gotten this from was a random tweet that has since been deleted

No, Adobe Photoshop is a proper editing suite so depending on what packages you buy it can set you back several hundred pounds, but is it very complex and professional software.
For example my edits aren't just copy & paste stuff, there's lots of layering, changing contrast tones, shadowing and ALOT more, it's not something that can really be done in MS Paint

Yes I know, but as mentioned in the caption I made the edit according the concept art for his character so it's accurate to what WOULD have been in the show, even if it wasn't factually accurate
