Jess, I love your teaching style. I learn something from every single one of your videos and I'm encouraged to actually start selling next spring. Learning more of actual techniques, growing styles, specific flower varieties and the WHY - break things out for me in a super understandable way. Thank you so much, and I'm delighted that you will continue growing and doing your videos! Best wishes to you and your family. Also, thank you for sharing E's progress. I don't post often, but I follow and send you all lots of unseen hugs! E is such a sweetie; I have two 2 yr old grand babies and connect emotionally with you and your family.
Thank you for an other great video!! Perennials saved my butt last spring, when most of my annuals died because of consistent cold weather and all rain. So I'm an absolute fan of perennials! I would love it, if you find the time to produce more videos concerning this item!! And: I'm SOOO glad that E does so well!!! She's such a sweet one!!! I'm thinking of you three next week, fingers crossed everything goes well!!! 💖 All the very best from Denmark!!! 💖🤗🌻
For sure, I really want to lean more into perennials! I invested a bit in echinacea and am curious to see how they perform next year! They don’t look very good right now 😅. Thank you for the well wishes!!
That you so much. Your videos are always chock full of well thought out actionable information. ❤. Also, so great to see E doing well. Been praying for her. She is so darn cute counting. It brought back memories of when my girl was that age. Such a fun precious innocent time. Now she’s 9 and into video games, social media and skincare. 🤦♀️ I’m glad for both you and E you are prioritizing spending time with her. Sometimes these unimaginable difficulties are a blessing in disguise. You may not have had this precious time and wonderful memories if she had not gotten sick. I pray she continues to heal quickly.
lol to video games and skincare. I will say you are absolutely right. It’s embarrassing to admit this- as much as I tried to prioritize spending time with her before the diagnosis, it is no where near as much as it is now. There are certain things we are giving in (like letting her sleep with us out of the practicality of monitoring her throwing up from nausea or fever) and they are creating the best moments and memories!
@ Don’t be embarrassed. We all try to do the best we can providing for our families. My daughter has health issues too, will spike 106 fevers, and honestly she still sleeps with us so I can monitor her breathing when she’s sick. And some of the funniest things have happened at night in bed and some of the best conversations. So don’t let anyone tell you what is right for your kid. I ended up closing my dance studio of 23 years due to my own health issues and while I was heart broken and dearly miss my dance family, I have been able to have some incredible bonding time with my daughter. That is priceless to me.
You will love having baptisia. I've had it in my garden for years and can use the foliage all spring, summer, and fall in bouquets, plus the flower spikes are lovely for the few weeks they are around. Best wishes.
Wonderful video. I would love to see your summer and fall versions. It was fantastic to see how excited E was to demonstrate her counting prowess. Best wishes for continued good news on the health front.
Great tips! Didn't know about stinky Sea Holly or that they are a spring flower. I'm going to try Echinops instead. I hope you are selling more lillies in 2025. I can't wait to buy some if you are.
Hello Jesse, this video was very helpful as I have been moving towards growing more perennials that can be used for cut flower arrangements. Having said this, I am currently exterminating invasive poppies that have taken over my flower beds and I am going to add more annuals into my flower beds as Crane does in his flower garden. On a more serious note, have you had your soil and water (if you are using well water) tested for forever chemicals (PFAS) in sludge which could have been applied to your land years ago. I am not saying this to scare you but there is a strong connection between these poisons and cancer. I am still praying for a complete recovery for E.
Great video. Thanks! I concur on nigella. I found that letting it be crowded helped it grow taller. I tried to check out your link for ordering lily bulbs. Nothing there. Too soon?
Ah thank you for the reminder! I need to take that part off in the description which is auto set for each video! I won’t be selling lily bulbs next year (as least I don’t plan to right now but will let you know if that changes)!
Yes! Great video! I'm in the same year as you, growing on about the same amount of space. I had always thought around year 5 I'll be able to say: here's what I grow:...... I'm planning for year 4 coming up (and beyond) to rely mostly on perennials, reseeders, and direct sown! I have some fall/winter offerings to help generate income, and hope to expand into some workshops and pop-ups as well. Are you growing sweet William? Go E! 🩷
I love that! I think I have 3 sweet Williams that I didn’t pull up. Ultimately, I decided against dedicating space bc I’m not going to try to hit Mother’s Day- sweet William is such a great crop here that blooms in early May. But it often blooms alone since I don’t have ranunculus so probably wouldn’t be able to do much with it 🙁
Thanks for E updates while maintaining her privacy. Good parenting !!!!!
I felt like a genius figuring out how to pixelate her 🤣
A 30 minute Jessie video!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 this made me realize how much I’ve missed your content!
Thank you friend ♥️♥️♥️
E is so cute! Love how excited she got counting. May God bless her and heal her. 🙏🏻
Perennials are the best ! All the best for E’s next round of chemo x
So precious with her numbers. Sending you good vibes this week. Great video, as always.
E is precious!!!!!! I love hearing her count. A very smart little girl. She is still in my prayers.
Thank you, we appreciate that!!

Aww thank you. Understanding why you find my videos helpful is good feedback for me! I hope your grandbabies are having the best holiday season :)

@ 💖🌞 My Echinacea don't look well either 😅😉 But in our cold and wet climate here I am afraid, that they won't really thrive 🥶 All the very best!!! 💖🌸🌼
Praying for E and you and your fam! Thanks for all the valuable insights you’ve been providing for us! Hope your holidays are warm and bright! 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thank you! 💜
Thanks, Jessie.. you are a strong woman and inspiration . So happy E had a good week !

Yes!’ I have seen it through all 3 seasons and was like why isn’t this talked about more?! Lol
What a sweet baby girl! Thank you for sharing and sending so many prayers your way!
Thank you ♥️

Eric, please give Jesse a BIG hug, kiss and foot massage for me. She is an incredible blessing to us blooming flower entrepreneurs.
This is the best comment ever! I am printing this out and taping it to his vanity mirror 😂
Is there a trick to mange the “thorns” in sea Holly?
