Does the printer matter as far as getting the best out of your print or is it more so about the ink you use? Also what’s a few good printers you recommend that I can convert to a sublimation printer.
Thank you so much for watching. The quality is more about the ink, the paper, the print settings and the application. I prefer the Epson eco-tank printers as you don't have to convert them if they are brand new. Instead of putting in the manufacturer ink, you'd just put in the sublimation ink to start. The Epson workforce requires a conversion. However, I've seen amazing outcomes with all of the printers if the settings are correct.
Oh no. I'm not sure why. I think there might be two types. The labels on this one specifically says Polyester Pouch. I haven't had any melting. I subbed them at 400 for 60 secs. I covered the entire bag when pressing.
I do these tote bags from Michael's at 400° for 55 secs and they come out beautiful! Very vibrant colors.
I converted my printer yesterday and created my first projects. Those bags work great.
