Good to have you back Natalie. You are a inspiration to girls and young women everywhere. Also to fathers with young daughters like me. If ever you get discouraged, remember probably less than 1 percent of the population can do what you do. Your videos and your sister's show that your opportunities are limited only by your drive and imagination. Keep up the good work.

Another awesome video! I did a lot of sailing as a child, and those quiet moments of just watching the boat in the sea had me reflecting, happy memories. Also loved looking at the food. For good fishing you should use: Rapala 'X Rap Deep sureset" or Super Shad Rap, its drag makes it go down to a depth of 5 to 15 feet with a long tongue always.
There was something missing that at first I couldn't put my finger on when you landed the Cuda...then I realized no mutts going nuts....😂😊

And this kids is a demonstration on how not to go forward when you are the only one on deck. One slip and dad would have woken up as the only one on board.
Exactly my thoughts, one slip and Papa would have awakened alone. Love her but fear for her safety.

@Sailing The Far Side I apologize if my comment sounded rude, but I love your videos. They show real sailing the way it is not the made for tv type stuff. You're not afraid to show the mistakes that happen to everyone, so please keep doing what you do. The only thing I ask is to be safe. We want you to continue to do the lifestyle that we all love.

We have a rule on our boat that nobody leaves the cockpit unless there is someone else in the cockpit.
Good rule.
Hard to do when you have only two people on board and watches have to be kept
@@SailingTheFarSide I suppose it depends on how everything is setup. I have all lines to cockpit but even though we sail and keep watches we still wake the other up if we have to go forward. If you fall in while the other is asleep you are dead. No hope. Ultimately it is a how much risk are you willing to take. Regardless your boat your rules.
when your by yourself on Deck maybe you should have a life jacket on

You are agile on deck, but Dad.. not so much. He should have a harness for front deck ventures especially with only two of you on board. Very dangerous in those seas and wind conditions. Just takes an instant and neither of you have flotation devices on.
Yes, alone on the deck at night.....the boat will not come back for you.
@@dartswinger Yea and if one of them fell overboard, by the time the other got sails down, the engine started, and the boat turned around in those wind and sea conditions, there would be little hope of finding the person that went overboard. Very dangerouos. I am sure they got away with it many times before, but it only takes once and it is a tragedy.

I'm always scared for you when you walk around on deck, reach around the lines to wrap another around it, the boat is travelling at about 5 knots, there's waves (not big ones but waves) papa is sleeping below deck and YOU'RE NOT WEARING YOUR SAFETY VEST. You are a good captain but a bad girl for not practicing safety measures
