The screen I when I choose REPEATER does NOT include the SSID text box. I only have "Remote AP Name" for choosing the main router. Now I am completely confused. I've updated to the latest firmware.

it seems to force me to give the main router and the repeater the same name. I don't mind, but it just doesn't work. The connection is only consistent when you are near the main router.

I see now that I do not have the same menu, for example in the Wireless list I do not have Wireless security page. Ther eis no Wireless Security page. My firmware is V1.2.27001. Perhaps mine is actually newer? But newer than the screenshots on the Netis site?

Do you have to have a different SSID for the repeater? I would like to have a seamless connection as possible between the AP and repeater. I would like to walk with my device in hand and not physically change my access points going from one end of the house to another.

I would always choose to give the repeater a different name so the devices don't get confused, and you know which network you are on, for example give your main router something like DaveNetwork, and the repeater DaveNetwork 2, and make sure they both use the same password, that's always worked out best for me, and most devices like Android phones will automatically switch over when the signal gets low from the main router, and if not it's easy enough to do yourself.
