Such a handy tool to have. Especially for fishing
Nice vid, looks to be a relaxing routine - kinda like the one I have with my airsoft replicas when relubing. But for my leathermans/leathermEn (?) I stick to the factory recommendation. Soak it in WD40 and let it dry.
WD40 will work as well but i don't like how it smells. as a routine, only good vibes!
👏👏👏👏

What's that thing called that holds one of the torx bits while you tighten the others?
It is micro edc sharpener from work sharp. I have video about it, check it out!

Wondering if on your if pivot on the knife is moving after oiling.
Mine is brand new and was working break but after i put some oil now the pivot is moving and i feel some extra force some time when opening
I think mine don't moves
good one
Where did you get the washers?
Good morning. Enjoyed the video-thank you for that! Wondering why you only used the loctite on the main blade though? Is it because thats the only one you took off? I have on older wave and I’m going to switch out the plier head with another that does have the replaceable cutters. I like how small the wave is but really like my surges! I enjoy having a leatherman on me at all times- i change them up at times depending on what I am doing. Thank you again and have a good day
Thank you for your comment! I used loctite on that pivot, because blade is used most of the time, so it gets loose more often. I haven't had that problem on other side, but of course it is better to use loctite on all four pivots. This wave is only product i have from leatherman and i love it! hope to get something else soon. Wave+ pliers with replaceable cutters is good idea and i know that rebar pliers will fit wave as well as an option. Glad you enjoied video and thank you again! Please subscribe for more!
@@Luka_M Hi. Yes thats what i am doing to my old wave. I purchased a rebar for a good price and didn’t wanna buy the wave plus because of the price and i can switch it out and make it cheaper. Guessing warranty wont be good but i like the idea of having the replaceable cutters! I have a lot of Leatherman’s. Enjoy them for different reasons. Thank you again. Thought i did subscribe. Will do
found one at the pawn shop for 25 bucks, just a lil dirty and stiff
for that price, it's a gift
Hi
The loctite that used in this video is 242 or 243??
Hi, 242
Where did you get the bits to remove them?
It needs security torx 10 bits. I got them from Wiha website.
@@Luka_M Thank you!!
Thanks for a peaceful moment 🙏🏻 What kind of lubricant are you using?
Glad that you liked! Lubricant I'm using is Tufglide, came in with bladehq knife care kit. Check their website.
What is in blue tube did you used?
Thread locker, 242 low to medium strength
@@Luka_M Thanks. I appreciate it!
Can u replace the knifes ?
I don't have another blade but sure you can change it. There are 154CM an S30V blades avalible.
I use gun oil for my leatherman.
every liquid form lubricant will work I think
but then the leatherman rust? I thought she was stainless steel..
almost every steel rusts more or less. I've seen rusted leathermans before.
@@Luka_M thanks
Needs commentary
What's the stuff in the blue tube?
As i know it is loctite 242, came with blade hq knife care kit
