Thanks for the tips! I got into comicbooks last year and spent a lot of money on Marvel and DC collected editions. But this year I discovered anime and manga and I am slowly adding them to my collections. There are so many wonderful stories out there in the world to consume. I definitely need to make a spreadsheet because I cannot keep track of it in my head any more!
i jus used the reinvestment tip. i spent a week selling stuff i didnt want and had enough to order jojos part 4 vol 1-8 and pre order jjk 23 and still haave more to sell 💯💯💯
I thankfully started collecting in order after accidentally getting volume 2 of naruto, anima, and chibi vampire back in 2008. Although my grandma bought volume 1 of the chibi vampire novel and volume 2 of the manga for me back then, so technically thats not on me. I'm also guilty of impulse buying sometimes. I recently found both omnibus volumes of inukami used for super cheap. It feels less damaging for my budget for sure. But the Christmas sale killed my wallet anyway.(after I bought necessities)

Solid tips.
I keep track of what I have in a notepad file on my phone. That way, I can always refer back to what I need.
this is a good idea to always have it on you
