Pick rates in ranked may reflect the strength of the individual agent, but in the pro scene pick rate is not a good indicator of an agent's individual strength. For example, a lot of the flash duelist are strong in a vacuum, and have more fragging capability than the high mobility duelists, but in pro play they barely get picked; not because they are worst than Raze or Jett, but because they aren't necessary, due to teams opting to go double initiator to get the same amount of flashes, but you have way more utility and stronger retake potential due to site wide ultimates that initiators typically have. Neon was rated on most of their tier lists at B or A tier, but they admitted that despite her being a strong agent, Raze and Jett would always get picked before her due to Neon lacking the mobility to get to vertical places. one thing to mention, is playing some agents (such as sova, yuro and cypher) you only get more skilled with theses agents and the impact only gets better. i played sova since silver and now reached immo 3. and i know i only get better with him over time. learning lineups and which util is best for each situation makes a massive difference ones aim becomes less important.
I've been saying Neon needs a buff for a while now, her sprint drains so fucking quickly and ohmygod, removing damage from her wall/fast lane is insane. Make it only damage enemies, not your team imo
The absolute best part about being an Omen main is the ability to accurately mark where the enemy Omen ulted to almost every single time. It's gotten to the point that when they use their ult I just mark a point and we flash into a triple swing with some teammates and ruin the poor mans day.
i main raze (about 200 hours of play not including customs) and secondary cypher who i agree is VERY good if you know a good amount of setups. His downfall is if the other team goes to a different site or trying to clutch from the other side of the map. the util is just not there for solid retakes all the team. still a very good agent tho
KJ has the same the problem. That's a sentinel issue in general or any site anchor really. Youre last to rotate. A 2v1 is regularly doable since it's easy to isolate fights but a 3v1 is usually bad or even a 3v2 if you aren't with your teammate and they die while you're still rotating.
the phoenix in D is insane but he is considered on of the best ranked agents as he do most of the stuff need by him self. breach is the opposite need some on to play off hes util
@@toxicvold3164 well phoenix sucks if we are talking about a pro comp, but we arent talking pro comps, phoenix sucks if he is the only duellist but works fine as a 2nd duellist and in a completely balanced game he isnt worth it. but if your team dosnt make the right decisions every time phoenix have the ability to play for him self, unlike other duelist.
Phoenix isn't bad. He's actually who I usually go for if I get stuck as a duelist (which is rare because I'm usually instalocking omen or Cypher/kj). I think his wall is a good substitute for viper on breeze and also let's your viper on icebox keep a permawall on B if you want to hit A. I rarely play duelists though he's rhe onky one I'm comfortable with
As an iso main, I am flabbergasted, bewildered, and utterly perplex and bamboozled. I am distraught and decieved. I would say iso is pretty good, but i might just be stupid
@@Matt-v2ureyna does his job much better, having a ult that you can die in does not make sense, just literally no value because of the single fact that reyna exists
In ascendant playing against a neon only gets worrying when they have good movement and pop their ult. Outside of the ult they are not hard to play against
As a solo Astra main with her being my highest winning character, I really think she just takes someone who knows her kit to make her powerful as a controller
I like the idea Brim is “barebones”. His whole kit is showing the fact he’s an old dog that can show some power compared to the “kids”. He’s a simple guy, simple lines, yet he’s effective
deadlocks actually really good, when it comes to holding down a site, unlike other sentinels she cant hold flanks or anything. It just depends on if the player is good and intelligent enough to compensate for the very niche kit.
As someone who is reyna main with 1000hrs + and has aim and brain and went from silver to diamond in 2 episodes I say reyna is good if you know how to play her correctly with team and she makes good use and a good agent up until asc or immo
as someone who’s played in immortal, its not very different. you want to take fights and keep fighting on reyna. you’ll get more útil in those ranks to help or hinder you though
Hard stuck iron and get to sil 2 by just switching Only Omen to Only Reyna and Practicing Gun fight mechanic. I would say that IF My gunfight mechanic is better than the enemy. I can solo carry the game. This is only one condition to win in very low rank lobby 😂 and Reyna really fit this.
Bruh....i just find lurking reyna in my plat lobbies. She just steals the kills from behind. As a cypher main.......my kit is highly designed for lurks and info...........these dumfk reynas just pops up in every lobby to lurk all the time. Mostly becuz if she is unable to take entry and make space, she goes to the other site for rotating kills ......... but cyphers cannot take entry. Its hard for them,, they lack movement and flashes
phoenix being so low is absurd, he is known to be one of teh best solo q agent as he can do so many things for himself, main reason he has a low winrate is because lots of noobs play him, being below harbour and astra is insane
I do agree that phoenix should be much higher but I feel you underestimate Astra. Firstly you can just place a stun or suck wherever and get free assists when you see your teammates killing people on the map. Second I find that she makes you play a lot more passive and less aggressive which forces you to stop taking fights you don’t need to be taking. I’ve found I entry a lot less as Astra whenever I play her than other agents that aren’t duelists
Honestly, I think Viper is absolutely not suitable for solo rank up. Her abilities are revealed only with calls from the team, her lineups only work if the team has played for a long enough time, and it is impossible to contain the entire enemy team in the ultimate. For this reason, Viper is NOT suitable for solo rank at all.
For the same reason, I would lower Killjoy to a C or even D tier. Her abilities are very good for protecting the site, but post planting or attack or retake is very dependent on the team. The same Cypher, on the contrary, can act alone in all these situations.
These agents are really very strong, but they open themselves only with a good team, which is unacceptable for a solo rank up, where randomness decides your good teammates or irons with the rank of diamonds.
Ye idk why he put her so low, having good aim on Reyna can get you at least to ascendant without having to think too much. Shes def an A tier and even S tier if you have insane aim. But I understand why he said it
Breach is actually so good. Even though team play isn’t that big in lower ranks. If you have any sense of awareness of your team you can still help them. Besides that he has so many aftershock (and flash) spots/combos on which you can capitalize yourself. Let’s also not forget his ability to retake sites.
the reason all of these tier lists are based on pro play, is because they know what they are talking about. With a few exceptions, the quickest way to rank up is by playing the agents pro players play. Often pro teams are picking agents because they are strong, not because they have 12 set plays for every round in a half. Every sage, reyna, and yoru in my games usually has better aim than me, only because their rank is being deflated because of the agent they play can't consistently provide util.
Just remember there’s no such thing as a bad agent. There are just bad players who cannot use more complicated agents to their full potential. I’d say this is more of tier list about which agents are easiest to have a greater impact on.
i used to be a killjoy main i i will say now that i main cypher i get soooo much more value and fun.the only edge (but a big one) is the postplant that kj has. other than that though, (and chip damage), having you and Ur teammates able to collect free kills through smokes and stopping lurks is very strong.
cypher is borderline broken, i dont think its fair that he has the ability to have unbreakable trips that only 2 agents in the roster have the ability to break is balanced or fair
If your playing with a duo and both love controllers, having harbor and another controller probably Viper or Omen is crazy because you get one of the best rushing controllers and los denial for retakes and attacker side but then you also get stalling power on defense, and for the second controller you just get a crazy defender, and post planter. (Unless its omen thats a different story with his paranoia and tp.)
I disagree i think deadlock should atleast be on c or hiher because her util is op (except her sonic trap stuff) but her net wall and ult is ok and shes useful
Nah, every one on my team in my bronze lobby is. I've never won with him and I think I only lost 1 or 2 against him. Usually he just flashes his team lmao
I would personaly put Sova in S tier, the amount of info he can get is rly good and if you are having a bad aim day you can always try doing smth with the shocks or ulti
with kayo, if youre solo qing dont learn flash lineups, they have no value since you as soon as you q into a team who doesnt listen to you all your practice is wasted, instead learn how to flash YOURSELF in, that way you can clutch more easily and can play duelist for your team when the actual duelist decides to fuck off to lurk.
I’ve been keeping a steady climb with neon only, last act I started in Silver and ended in Platinum 2, now I’m dia 2 with 55% wr. If you don’t have teammates that entry with you you’re cooked
thank god finally an accurate guide. I'm so tired of hearing great solo-queue agents get put in low ranks because they can't find a place in the pro meta. Also yeah astra is amazing in pro play because of the coordination potential but I appreciate your rankings.
i disagree with the breach placement because his kit is very much useful, even tho as a initiator it doesnt helps much his blast to clear out angle or cheeky spots, his concussion, his flash and his ult is very much useful, so i would like to atleast put him up to the C tier....
gekkos blind also gives info tho (when u started talking abt skyes kit)? either they shoot it or theyll get blinded which u can see by the tracers of the way the goo goes which also will tell u how many ppl are there + his buff where it blinds ppl faster . gekko is a good team player (saying this as a skye kj viper main, no bias) . otherwise, i agree w ur opinion and id say to use him as a second initiator
Chamber Main and sometimes neon T_T depends, if instalocked duelists are present it will be chamber but if there arent instalocked duelits it will be neon
I agree with the list but i feel like neon is like Yoru. Where she might not be the best when you are new to her but if you figure out how to play her and run she is op and can dominate. ( as a sage main )
he put gekko in c and put skye in s/a for the reasons the two of them are so similar. Dude did you forget that their are voicelines that for when wingman and dizzy see someone? If you pay attention you can actually get more info then skye
I meeean.... if we speaking from iron to diamond, Gekko is the best initiator there is, broken flash (for low-mid elo, high elo just counter it), Wingman, and big zoning molly, good ult for info/stun, and ALL this abilities can be reused. Jett below Immo is B tier max, most players can't play her properly, and her OP value (below Imo) is lower than Chamber. Iso below Immo is in just for his double tap is A-B tier, it's such a good ability for not being traded and against OP players, BUT his whole kit is so MEH, wall is meh, his Fragile skill is also meh, his ult is terrible if you're not under double tap shield... He is meh agent, but double tap shield makes him an absolute unit for mid elo. Skye is only S tier in high elo, in low-mid elo Gekko strongly overshadows her especially now, I am Skye main btw, but I am Asc - Immo (Immo when I don't play 20 hrs per act xdd) player.
Started playing the game again 1 month ago, went from silver 2 to diamant playing almost only reyna. Don’t care that she is selfish player if her win rate is so high no way she is C tier
astra needs to be a low a tier there good all ranks even if your not 5 stacking as an astra solo queue main whos immortal its so much fun and hard to master but amazing when you do!
i think harbor one is bit of a bs i think in some maps other then even breeze he provides a ton of value aside from viper damaging with her wall you manipulate harbor's wall according to the situation only maps i think he can be used are heaven and split and i personally love viper on split but her on heaven is also useless harbor has all the utilities to dely as much as possible and with the 2 moving walls i think he can get you ton of space to your liking and his ult is very useful on retakes too
As a harbor main I personally think harbor gets clowned on for no reason. His cascade is perfect for holding off a push, his cove protects you for plant and defuse, and his wall is just as good as vipers and you can control it. While his ult may be lack luster it can help hold of the enemies. In a way harbor is like if controllers and sentinels had a child.
The only thing i would do is rank them in the ranks like skye is worst than omen so she is high A tier/ low S tier. Otherwise with the nerfs to skye i would change her with sova, but the tierlist is perfect for solo queue (i'm plat)
I absolutely respect that raze is S tier I mean I main her and think she's really op for how u can throw ur granade but neon is really good as well my friend mains her and doesn't really know how to move correctly and gets some nice kills
Playing Astra with my friends in a five-stack is just too fun I barely play solo q anymore lmao. Imo she's viable in solo q but only if you're an insane one-trick astra or something. If both you and your duo are reasonably skilled, she's also viable but yeah the less teammates you have in your party the more she loses her value sadly since its pretty rare to get good comms in solo q ranked or just maybe because you are not used to your teammates playstyle and cant aid them with your util.
ive been scrolling through all the comments for someone to stand up for astra as an agent 😭, i don’t main her but i play her regardless how many people i’m queued with. i think i have a decent 90% post plant 1v1 win rate with astra
Well if agents are being put on a tier list then why do people lose because of bad team and get trolled, agents don't matter teamwork does, agent pick rate or win rate doesnt matter its about knowing how to use that agent at its full potential, whether its supporting team or winning rounds with team support, idk if this tier list is from your opinion or just win-lose rates in ranks
I remember the first time I played valorant I played phoenix but the next game I played I picked sage and I new she’s going be my main for no matter if she is good bad or at the bottom when she got the change to her wall where it had to harden I was mad when she got the change to her walls price I was mad but no matter what I’m still playing her and I will always
as a bronze neon main with 100 hours on neon alone i 100% agree with you unless you have good movement and genuinely put hours and hours into it she is awful im still in bronze and i think if i had 100 hours in a different agent (like omen) I might be in silver
I am solidifying some changes here. Skye adjustment S Tier -> A Tier. Still very good in the mid-ranks imo

one thing to mention, is playing some agents (such as sova, yuro and cypher) you only get more skilled with theses agents and the impact only gets better. i played sova since silver and now reached immo 3. and i know i only get better with him over time. learning lineups and which util is best for each situation makes a massive difference ones aim becomes less important.
As a smoker main duo/solo playing Omen as my main, Brim and Viper on maps where Omen doesn't shine as much, i'm satisfied with this tierlist hihi
harbor is really good at blocking my wallhax arrows.... when he is on my team.
i main raze (about 200 hours of play not including customs) and secondary cypher who i agree is VERY good if you know a good amount of setups.
Phoenix is only good if the enemy team is bad. That’s sounds really stupid but phoenix just doesn’t work against good players unlike other duelists
@@toxicvold3164he has good flashes for close range, a wall, an alright ult and a molly
ISO is good but why play iso when u could play raze or jett
@@DrPigs Not my cup of tea,
@@Matt-v2ureyna does his job much better, having a ult that you can die in does not make sense, just literally no value because of the single fact that reyna exists
In ascendant playing against a neon only gets worrying when they have good movement and pop their ult. Outside of the ult they are not hard to play against
miniboo would disagree hard
As a solo Astra main with her being my highest winning character, I really think she just takes someone who knows her kit to make her powerful as a controller
as a day 1 omen main, i agree he is S tier bro. So good
I like the idea Brim is “barebones”. His whole kit is showing the fact he’s an old dog that can show some power compared to the “kids”. He’s a simple guy, simple lines, yet he’s effective
Ayyyy… bro called my rank “down there” 😂😂
gekko is insanely strong with the refreshing flash
Phoenix should be definitely above astra, harbor and definetly neon
deadlocks actually really good, when it comes to holding down a site, unlike other sentinels she cant hold flanks or anything. It just depends on if the player is good and intelligent enough to compensate for the very niche kit.
that neon movement tho
As someone who is reyna main with 1000hrs + and has aim and brain and went from silver to diamond in 2 episodes I say reyna is good if you know how to play her correctly with team and she makes good use and a good agent up until asc or immo
bro im sorry you do not have a brain if your in diamond LMFAO, your opinion is like asking a jv basketball player compared to lebron
as someone who’s played in immortal, its not very different. you want to take fights and keep fighting on reyna. you’ll get more útil in those ranks to help or hinder you though
I’ve found I entry a lot less as Astra whenever I play her than other agents that aren’t duelists
the thing with astra is that she really needs team play to be effective, which in low ranks just isnt gonna happen.@@_Iceey
as a cypher main, he is so fun. People thinking where are your trips HAHAHAHA and just watching your cctv while eating 🤣
Switching from brim to omen was best decision ever
Why
Why
Reyna is the best solo queue agent in the game so if u want to rank up fast use her
Ye idk why he put her so low, having good aim on Reyna can get you at least to ascendant without having to think too much. Shes def an A tier and even S tier if you have insane aim. But I understand why he said it
@@historic6752 fr i used her from bronze to ascendant and it was soo easy cuz I have always had good aim so imo she is AT LEAST high A if not S
Pro play and ranked is not at all the same. Pros pick based on what works well together. Your commebt is stupid af
Just remember there’s no such thing as a bad agent. There are just bad players who cannot use more complicated agents to their full potential. I’d say this is more of tier list about which agents are easiest to have a greater impact on.
A gekko with dizzy lineups is scary
Sad to C Gekko in the C tier (appreciate the pun pls, I only just came up with it)
i used to be a killjoy main i i will say now that i main cypher i get soooo much more value and fun.the only edge (but a big one) is the postplant that kj has. other than that though, (and chip damage), having you and Ur teammates able to collect free kills through smokes and stopping lurks is very strong.
cypher is borderline broken, i dont think its fair that he has the ability to have unbreakable trips that only 2 agents in the roster have the ability to break is balanced or fair
Rat
If your playing with a duo and both love controllers, having harbor and another controller probably Viper or Omen is crazy because you get one of the best rushing controllers and los denial for retakes and attacker side but then you also get stalling power on defense, and for the second controller you just get a crazy defender, and post planter. (Unless its omen thats a different story with his paranoia and tp.)
24:20 that was really funny
i think phoenix's play style being selfish is so lore accurate LOL
11:56, that was so smooth
Tier List: If played at full potential
S: Viper, Brimstone, Cypher, Omen, Clove
A: Killjoy, Skye, Raze, Jett, Reyna
B: Yoru, Breach, Gekko, Chamber, Iso, Neon
C: Fade, Astra, DeadLock, Kayo
D: Sage, Phoenix, Harbour, Sova
I disagree i think deadlock should atleast be on c or hiher because her util is op (except her sonic trap stuff) but her net wall and ult is ok and shes useful
But reyna na put her in d
I am singlehandedly bringing down kayos win rate 💀
I have like a 20% win rate on kayo this act lol, I do NOT know what I'm doing
Nah, every one on my team in my bronze lobby is. I've never won with him and I think I only lost 1 or 2 against him. Usually he just flashes his team lmao
I would personaly put Sova in S tier, the amount of info he can get is rly good and if you are having a bad aim day you can always try doing smth with the shocks or ulti
He isnt S bc he doesn't flash
with kayo, if youre solo qing dont learn flash lineups, they have no value since you as soon as you q into a team who doesnt listen to you all your practice is wasted, instead learn how to flash YOURSELF in, that way you can clutch more easily and can play duelist for your team when the actual duelist decides to fuck off to lurk.
Also yeah astra is amazing in pro play because of the coordination potential but I appreciate your rankings.
as an immo player, pop flash agents the best in low elo
Gecko should be higher cause he does help the team a lot
Bro violating us in the first 0:29 seconds "IRON PLAY"
i disagree with the breach placement because his kit is very much useful, even tho as a initiator it doesnt helps much his blast to clear out angle or cheeky spots, his concussion, his flash and his ult is very much useful, so i would like to atleast put him up to the C tier....
I think every agent is good if you know how to play it well and if you can create pressure with him
gekkos blind also gives info tho (when u started talking abt skyes kit)? either they shoot it or theyll get blinded which u can see by the tracers of the way the goo goes which also will tell u how many ppl are there + his buff where it blinds ppl faster . gekko is a good team player (saying this as a skye kj viper main, no bias) . otherwise, i agree w ur opinion and id say to use him as a second initiator
skye nerf aged this tier list like milk
Bro had smoked everything
never let him cook again (im just a cypher one trick angry about his thumbnail) love the content LOL
6:11 shame to see my main this low, but Skye exists so fair enough
Doesn't matter anyway, there is always that one guy, that woops regardless.
i went from plat to immortal in one episode with sage ONLY
The best agent is still the Smurf Agent
I was having a headache while watching this 😂
Chamber Main and sometimes neon T_T
depends, if instalocked duelists are present it will be chamber but if there arent instalocked duelits it will be neon
Thumbnail completely baited us.
Thank you for putting sage on the bottom worst thing is the e couples and then the lack of not having any utility on flank is just annoying af
“Breach is bad because he’s too teamplay oriented”
“Phoenix is bad because his util is too selfish”
Omen has been my boy for 4 years, he ain’t never gonna stop ‼️‼️
I've been saying this since episode 4 but let phoenix OVERHEAL from his molly and wall (make the temporary shield last a little less than reyna)
Fk no he already gets 2 life's every 3 rounds
@@CubeInspectorwell he is still one of the worst characters in the game lmao
I agree with the list but i feel like neon is like Yoru. Where she might not be the best when you are new to her but if you figure out how to play her and run she is op and can dominate. ( as a sage main )
17:54 that guy has upgraded prime karambit
dingus
"other agents like skye" bro that's the only other healer lmao
I'll never forgive for giving Skye two major nerfs at once. At least do it one at a time
The non regenerative flashes are not even deserved tbh.
me having 80 percent win rate with kayo and 1.50 kd while solo queue kayo only
Joe punching air rn💀
he put gekko in c and put skye in s/a for the reasons the two of them are so similar.
Skye is only S tier in high elo, in low-mid elo Gekko strongly overshadows her especially now, I am Skye main btw, but I am Asc - Immo (Immo when I don't play 20 hrs per act xdd) player.
if i had a dollar for every time the word value was said
Started playing the game again 1 month ago, went from silver 2 to diamant playing almost only reyna. Don’t care that she is selfish player if her win rate is so high no way she is C tier
astra needs to be a low a tier there good all ranks even if your not 5 stacking as an astra solo queue main whos immortal its so much fun and hard to master but amazing when you do!
i think harbor one is bit of a bs i think in some maps other then even breeze he provides a ton of value aside from viper damaging with her wall you manipulate harbor's wall according to the situation only maps i think he can be used are heaven and split and i personally love viper on split but her on heaven is also useless harbor has all the utilities to dely as much as possible and with the 2 moving walls i think he can get you ton of space to your liking and his ult is very useful on retakes too
nah astra should have her own tier above everyone else but good vid :))
I usually main Cypher now, but my backups are Omen and Jett. I just didn't liked that Gekko's placement. Although List is completely fine.
When i get valorant (when i get a pc) i was thinking of maining yuro, and iso (they looked cool)
10:22 song name?
Very happy as an omen/ sova main and a little
Kj
While he's saying that Iso needs a rework and buff, I just pray for Iso to be nerfed so hard like Chamber was
As a harbor main I personally think harbor gets clowned on for no reason.
Well if agents are being put on a tier list then why do people lose because of bad team and get trolled, agents don't matter teamwork does, agent pick rate or win rate doesnt matter its about knowing how to use that agent at its full potential, whether its supporting team or winning rounds with team support, idk if this tier list is from your opinion or just win-lose rates in ranks
breeze need a rework so we need to nerf chamber
I remember the first time I played valorant I played phoenix but the next game I played I picked sage and I new she’s going be my main for no matter if she is good bad or at the bottom when she got the change to her wall where it had to harden I was mad when she got the change to her walls price I was mad but no matter what I’m still playing her and I will always
brother really click baited us
I feel proud as a peak plat 1 yoru main
as a bronze neon main with 100 hours on neon alone i 100% agree with you unless you have good movement and genuinely put hours and hours into it she is awful im still in bronze and i think if i had 100 hours in a different agent (like omen) I might be in silver
As a Harbor main, he should be D tier. Even with breeze and icebox he's really not great compared to other controllers
