@laneyclair Can't exactly remember the reason that they stated, but they said something about it not being able to work for the time being, and that they'd work on it when valorant switches to UE5
@laneyclair I'm inclined to believe it isn't a problem with profit because this in particular has nothing to do with profit, and riot has released well made additions to the game that aren't focused on profit (Team Death Match)
It’s the same thing as league right now. Riot is pushing how much they can charge their skins to see just how far they can push it before profits drop. Once they do however, they’ll say “We’re gonna reduce the prices” to not only maintain profits but to seem like they’re the good guys for providing a solution to a problem they created
Companies not realise that a having mote and happier players automatically earns more than antagonizing most to get some whales IS CRAZY. Aren't they supposed to be economy experts?

Genuinely thank you for making videos on this. I can't believe Riot can get away with absurd prices on skins for this long. I regret absolutely every cent I put in the game and regret having fallen for "oh this skin is so insane I have to buy it" so many times. Of course it couldn't stop with the skins and the shitty battle passes, they had to invent a new cosmetic nobody asked for. They can't keep getting away with these scummy practices!
I completely understand what he’s saying, but valorant is a free game. If you don’t want to drop 70 bucks on a skin, then don’t! I don’t understand why people get so upset whenever Riot drops a new bundle, obviously they’re extremely overpriced, but people aren’t forced to buy the skins.
My account was hacked for the second time, and despite providing all the proof I could to Riot's support team, they’ve outright refused to return it to me. Instead of offering a solution, Riot Support repeatedly closes my tickets, claiming it’s “to protect other players from being hacked.” If player security is truly the priority, why not improve your account security systems? Other companies, like Rockstar Games, have implemented robust measures to protect their players-why can’t Riot do the same? I’ve invested both my time and hard-earned money into this account. As a student, the amount I’ve spent might seem small to Riot, but it’s a lot for me. It feels like Riot doesn’t value its loyal players once they’ve made their purchases. What makes this even more frustrating is that Riot continues to roll out new skins every few weeks, and players buy them without realizing this kind of thing can happen to them. Is this how you treat your community? Permanently lock accounts without fair resolution?
Yes we are done of having over priced skins and NO Replay, NO new game modes, NOT more settings for custom, NO season thing (map, skins,...) and more and more
I'm sure riot hired some Chinese gatcha business analyst for their marketing team but tbh it did me great favor, almost a year without spending a dime cause fck their greed I don't support predators
They also could've just adjusted animation sets to accommodate for left-handed flexes??? That way, flexes work only in the melee slot, and only with skins that only really use one hand for most animations. Couple of blend layers, weightlists, etc and you could make it work.
Valorant is an expensive game, not only for other countries but also in terms of dollars, it is many times more expensive than most games. The graphics are terrible, the maps are very bad. The game is full of bugs and cheats. The battle pass is the most empty and unusable battle pass you can see in the game world, and it is also very expensive for its content. They should give at least 1 skin with effects in BP. There is no event in the game and all the characters are like copies of each other, their abilities are incredibly similar. There is no map or agent ban in the game despite Riot's promises. Also, its interface is very bad. They bring a new big update every 3 months and this update brings either a new agent or a new map. Sometimes they are so lazy that they don't bring anything if they want. It is just a new and empty weapon collection for you to spend your money. There are almost no different game modes in it because they are all terrible and except for one game mode, you play on the same maps in other game modes, which are very small, there is not even a hint of lore in them, so there is no detail. Like community maps that can be made in 1-2 weeks. Ranked and matchmaking systems are very bad, content such as personalization and customization are almost non-existent. Just like Valve has been doing lately, they seem to be trying to kill their own game, like Bllizard, they don't care about what their players say. This company has taken the bad sides of both companies. There are no customization systems like in other games. For example, a screen showing the best moment at the end of the match, character skins, emotes, etc. have not come and probably will not come until the game starts to die. If Riot promises its players small and easy-to-make updates such as replay system, shop system, map agent ban systems and doesn't do it after 4 YEARS, who would play this game, right? But the audience of this game is so addicted that they don't stop playing. I think the reason for this is that Riot has achieved great success in the field of e-sports. That's the only area they are good at. In short, Valorant seems to have quickly earned itself a place in history as the most overrated FPS game of all time.
The more crazy thing is that the prices are fixed, like its 100,50$ for their region but for other countries :) , a bundle is minimum of 6k in inr ,& people are still buying it
its just that people buy these new skins like there is no tommorrow and riot know that they dont realy have to anything else than skins bc the game is not gonna die anyway
As a seller they can put up any price, it's the consumer who has to decide whether to purchase it or not. Only way they're getting away with it is people still purchase them. We can't blame riot, it's the people who have to force them by boycotting expensive skins.
the problem is that even tho theres people complaining theres another set who will buy every new skin without a single thought as long as theres people like that valorant will keep making it more expensive untill those people wake up
they haven't even done cinematic trailer (and song)for a long time too, it was one of my favourite thing from riot, its like they want the game just for esports and skin,

Yeah League skin quality has gone down crazy just like Val’s. I wonder if Val will get gacha.
@@chewycobos9722 Even if you talk about it people will still buy it tbh. Talking doesn't matter when people either don't agree it's overpriced or will never see this video anyway
I’m very glad people speak on this topic
Yk I was one of the guys who used to think that the skins are very expesnive. The first bundle I boycotted was the R.E.S bundle (Even though I loved the punch melee). Since then skins quality for the most part has dipped and the costs have gone sky high. I never was one of the haters, but I wasnt optimistic that other people will actually raise their voices over this. Thanks Ditto you finally did it! People are finally talking about it.
Nah RES was one of the original over priced bundles. It was 110 I want to say for the whole thing? You still don’t see it that much and that bundle was actually pretty cool.
Bruh people have been talking about this since year 1
@@cynthiahembree3957 yeah like obviously, they compared it to CS and valo has no market place but the animations, finishers and the vfx made sense, but now the quality has gone down and the prices have gone to the levels of that people can't justify or defend it at all.
@@Venomx-nb1jr I agree, it was like having 3 skins with unique finish and banner. That gimmic was still understandable. But now its just unrealistic 😂
We need more content creators to talk about this, otherwise this is just going to get worse.
the price is just absurd

0:54 there is not even a grip. The animation looks so wiered
just noticed that, it makes the bundle look so trashy bruh
thank you for being so vocal about this, they need to learn their lesson. i hope the community doesn't buy blindly anymore.
Yeah riots gone too far. We’ve all been saying to boycott the shop for a while but this bundle is buns anyway so we all should just avoid it and make sure riot changes their pricing
I started playing Valorant a couple of months ago, but the prices are keeping me from buying any skins.
Same ! And I don’t see where the scam is
@@Kash.mp3 the scam is the prices
play cs you are able to actually get your money back😂
I thought flex would be like 5, at much 7, 13 is crazy bro, what are they doing 💀
Valorant had hit the greed point where they lose money due to cosmetics being too pricey for the average player, causing money loss due to less sales.
im pray that Riot Games did something illegal such as tax evasion that gets them all arrested, because this shit alone should be enough for their arrest
its a cosmetic, dont like it? dont buy it
@@agentqbe8417 stupid guy detected "you dont like dictature dont vote for him" same shit
@@agentqbe8417 exactly. just dont buy it and wait for other skins. If no one buys it then they can reinforce changes
@@agentqbe8417if we dont as a community put our foot down, even those who buy every skin will not be able to afford it
@@agentqbe8417I get that, but still wanting to buy skins but not wanting to support this behavior from riot is another complex issue. Because other people WILL buy these bundles anyway regardless of the price so riot will never drop them. Some people want to buy skins but just don’t want to buy them at this price.
The crazy part is you buy the skin but you also have to buy the effects
Yeah they gotta bring those prices down and add more value to their bundles. Its so absurd. I can eat for a month for what they charge for a bundle. Or i can buy multiple 20 to 30 dollar games for that much. We all love valorant but this is just predatory and the only surefire way to stop it is to STOP BUYING THEIR BUNDLES! Until they are actually giving good value for a good fair price
This. I was flabberghasted when people even in my own friend group were defending Overwatch making mythical skins a 70$ purchase.
Its just optional, its all cosmetic, dont like it dont buy it, yadda yadda yadda.
I mean, yeah, it is, and i *will* just not buy it, but we've gotten to a point in the industry where selling one or two skins for more than a full price AAA game, or like 3 - 4 indie games is just accepted as normal.
The Price - Value scale is so lopsided in the wrong direction its crazy.
The Zeno fang bundle was 6355 vp and this one this close to 7000 vp because of the flex, but no one said anything about the Zeno fang and how its gun had basic reload and how there is also only two guns.

Accidentally deleted Valorant while cleaning my SSD, I didn't miss a single thing. Not even my purchased skin nor any esport team. Riot needs to be humbled.
they just clowns who dont even release a replay system, they say the difference in ping from different players doesnt allow them to do this = at that time, every game has a replay system))
Riot has stated that they cannot and will not make a replay system until the change to UE5
I forgot about the replay system. Didn’t they announce it? What happened?
Literally every game has a replay system. Ig it wont make them money so why put in the effort
Not the drake snake flexing scam...
THERE IS NO WAY THE THOUGHT THAT A COSMETIC THAT IS USED LIKE A SPRAY SHOULD COST MORE THAN A BATTLEPASS.. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS
I’ve bought a Gaia vengeance phantom and a reaver Vandal once. Now I’ll never give right a single dime.
I like the helix bundle ngl. The animations on the phantom and knife just feel so clean to me
Companies not realise that a having mote and happier players automatically earns more than antagonizing most to get some whales
IS CRAZY.
Aren't they supposed to be economy experts?
But they know that people will still play the game and this is why they are still increasing their price. The only mistake is to never make a pay to win system. Other than that they can do everything even if it's anti customer.
This actually isn't even true. The companies that make the most money are still the most greedy
as someone who has spent so much money on this game I completely agree, that much money for it is absolutely insane. They're so money-hungry but don't actually care about players' experience.
The problem is that people are still buying those overpriced bundles encouraging Val to rise the prices
I’m surprised people are now making a big deal out of the shop now. Buying skins for 60-90 dollars is still insane
Glad u are adressing this when every other streamer or content creator are just glazing riot even if what they doing rn is only hurting the game and the player base
ex riot intern here, recently tencent completely bought out val and they pushed out the old valorant project manager this past summer, he was the main one who really pushed against tencent's business models. its so sad to see how much theyve taken over since his departure from the company
Wait so valorant is not Riot's anymore but Tencent game now?
@@AllIsSymbol Riot is Tencent. Company owned wholly by Tencent since 2011. As far as who's been running the show since the change, couldn't tell you. But they'll put cosmetics and esports bullshit in the game before y'all get some actual content that isn't a weapon skin or.....excuse me I haven't played this bullshit in almost 3 years what is it now A FUCKIN CELL PHONE.
Those that say "free game, just don't buy it" and buy anyway are part of the problem. Content creators that buy the skins because they will find a way to write it off or have endless funds are a part of the problem
@@AllIsSymbol Riot has been bought by Tencent since 2011. Given that the commenter didn't even know that he probably is lying about being an ex Riot intern. Also Tencent does and always has had a very hands off approach with management. So this really doesn't even line up to what they are saying. I'm not sure about the claims about the product manager being pushed out but this entire comment reeks of BS
evident by the fact the exo bundle now has profit going to a charity people aren’t buying the bundles so hopefully we can boycott these new bundles and fix the issues of them charging ridiculous prices so underwhelming bundles
The problem is people still buy these insanely high prices. They keep testing the limits of their players and how much they are willing to pay so they gradually increase prices. Literally EA
The game is all about cosmetics nowadays. They should improve the gameplay instead.
The only thing that would fix that is tighter rank requirements.
improve the gameplay how?
6:22, a really good sentence 🖤🖤. it's still good to call out shady business practices.
fr man valo needs to stop, n I support u in this fight, as a big youtube u can voice all are emotions directly to rito games
Gamers’ down horrendousness for pixels on a screen is the real issue. The fact that we’re complaining about skins being expensive shows that there’s a demand and that Riot’s methods are working.
nope its not being able to get your money back😂
Thanks for making videos like this...people really need to be aware
Oh yeah like u never seen the price before his videos 😂
I saw somewhere else that they raised the price for the buddy for that bundle, usually its 475 but the new buddy is 675
The price of the single skins it's actually not bad but damn, the bundle it's just on a whole new scam level
No bro look at reasonable games $25 for a premium skin is still pretty damn high some games like The Finals will have a skin with custom reload, model, and inspects for $8
i mean, paying 30, 40 bucks for a skin is already a little insane in itself
@KSNakin yeah, i'm still talking about "valorant prices", otherwise probably almost every bundle they released was a scam ngl
how is that price not bad lol?
@@mum-your honestly it has animations for inspect, pull out, reload, custom finisher. I wanna remember that Celestial Bundle, Spline Bundle, Soulstrife bundle didn't have any new animations (aside the celestial melee) or finisher and still were 1775 vp. As a bundle, the helix is a new of its kind of scam, but talking about single skin price, it's reasonable.
There's one more point to add, that being people are still going to buy the previous good skins, so the revenue ain't stopping.
lets all go on a strike and not buy skins anymore till prices drop!
The people who buy will buy.
This would be good if there weren't stupid people who buy it and the reason is that it's their money and they do whatever they want with it
@thronadotopete ya, the game is free for us because of them. If they stop spending the game won't be free. Boycotting won't change much, imo.
And That’s how greed kills a company
5:09 The grind from marvel rivals for free gems or the blue currency reminds me of free vbucks on Save the world, the whole facade of “scamming” the devs by getting free cosmetics makes it fun to grind challenges and keep playing 😅😅
4:51 Ok but praising the MR battle pass and immediately following it up by showing the 2 worst skins obtainable from it is kind of ironic LMAO
don't buy it
Genuinely thank you for making videos on this.
Paying more than $10 for a snake to crawl on your hand is absolutely insane and unacceptable.
I have a 110k-vp inventory, I won't spend a single dime on this game including battle passes until riot's greed stops.
valorant marketing team should see this first thing in the morning
yeah i havent bought skins since they first raised their prices. absolutely ridiculous
I thought that flex was the inspect animation for the guns
😂😂
The more crazy thing is that the prices are fixed, like its 100,50$ for their region but for other countries :) , a bundle is minimum of 6k in inr ,& people are still buying it
its just that people buy these new skins like there is no tommorrow and riot know that they dont realy have to anything else than skins bc the game is not gonna die anyway
That snake should be 100vp and they can give tons of these things as they are worthless
dittozkul crashing out at valorant is music to my ears.
That snake feels so unfinished it has no tail
Scams are when the Market Value of a Product increases in line with Demand.
As a seller they can put up any price, it's the consumer who has to decide whether to purchase it or not. Only way they're getting away with it is people still purchase them. We can't blame riot, it's the people who have to force them by boycotting expensive skins.
Riot's Marketing team gotta take lessons from Alex Hormozi
I was so happy when the bundle was 71 dollars (after the 91 dollar monstrocity). And then I saw a ONE FLEX, TWO GUNS, AND ONE KNIFE.
Didn't play Val for 2 years. Randomly clicked on this video and I'm shocked that Valorant is even more cooked than when I stopped playing.
the problem is that even tho theres people complaining theres another set who will buy every new skin without a single thought as long as theres people like that valorant will keep making it more expensive untill those people wake up
they haven't even done cinematic trailer (and song)for a long time too, it was one of my favourite thing from riot, its like they want the game just for esports and skin,
I just stopped buying skins honestly, until I see a deal that's actually worth buying then I might in the future but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon
