- I like Rodney Crowell, and it shows. If someone could produce "Shame on the Moon" or "She ain´t going nowhere" from his 1981-Album "Rodney Crowell" on the Tube, I would be even more lucky.
Diamonds and dirt in the top 20 of best albums of any genre.
Lots of talent, good looks and a sense of humor--what a combo!!!
Love this guy!!
This is one of my all time favorite songs. Not much of a country music fan but this song is perfect.
Killer song, killer singer, killer band....
In what sense does the word "killer" apply? How do you make the stretching between killing and entertaining? Entertaining is killing? How so? Think, man, think!
Holy Writ says that the twisted folks are fascinated with death.
haven't heard this song since the late 80's..love it...
Whoever balanced this surely did a best job. Whoever notices the working of the knobs' twister?
I do. Whoever did the Letterman show was the best, especially when Darlene Love did her thing every Christmas with about 25 other people on stage and you heard every one of them.
THAT is how you start a guitar solo!
Studio version hit #1 in Billboard. 'You know, she's probably already to Little Rock.' God bless!
this is one of the best tunes I have ever heard and I have been on that bus ha ha lol
one of my favorite albums
Killer song and sweet mullet!Great combo.
"Man, LET HER GO!" may be the best advice, A friend of mine is fighting to save his marriage, and this song keeps coming to mind.
I always think of Understand Your Man by Johnny Cash. I've had many a friend try to save their marriages, and the ones that were really takin it hard I tried to put em in that mindset. So far, every one of my friends' marriage has ended in divorce eventually. And you are right, LET HER GO is pretty damn good advice.
I met him in Nashville many years ago, great guy
Great singer
lomg time fan of this guy, love the video
luv this guy :-)
That be Steuart Smith -- he be playing for the Eagles these days. He's a knocked-out player for sure.
Might be the best country solo of the modern era.
Steuart's favorite guitarist was an "unknown" Mike Dennis, who played with female folk rock singer who was big in DC and moved to Denmark, Liz Meyer. Mike and I lived in several group situations together. He was a genius guitarist, but unstable to a career in big time. Go to 10m 35s ua-cam.com/video/Qm34V0oRqf0/v-deo.html
Love it.
When I was little I thought he was signing, "she's crazy, Felipe." Always wondered who Felipe was...
Hello 👋🏼 Jessa
Love love it
I bet Rodney was thinking of Roseanne Cash, his ex-wife, when he co-wrote this song. But if you listen to Roseanne's Seven Year Ache" you have to wonder which of them was most responsible for the end of that marriage.
I believe that is Tommy Spurlock on Steel.
long gone to Lufkin"
SAW HIM LAST NIGHT WITH VINCE GILL!
Crowell was the man. Only downside is he looked mad while singing.
I just notice his resemblance to Paul McCartney......

Is that Jerry Douglas playing the pedal steel?
Must be his doppleganger!
Hello 👋🏼 Susanna Kevaanranta
If anything he looks like Charlie Sheen with those pointy brows
WHO THE HELL WAS THAT GUITAR PLAYER???
Steuart Smith, now with the Eagles.
Seems to me the man who wrecked his truck to tell a woman she’s crazy is the one who is out of control. This song isn’t as good as I remembered it being.
