That titan has lived the meme dream not once but twice. He was sitting in a box in my garage base coated for legitimately 5 years before Ates borrowed him last year. What a wild rags to riches ride. Glad you had fun with him, and I'm super stoked by that paint job.
Man this sounds so fun. I think I'm someone who honestly doesn't care about narrative that much, but does like fun games. Playing a fun/meme list under a competitive-ish ruleset/matched play at an event honestly sounds like the way forward for me from now on.
You have such an awesome vibe, and as I learn this game your the type of player I strive to be. I subscribed and am excited to see more content from you.
I like your gaming style. Gentlemen’s casual agreements about terrain and victor. I think those things keep the game going, especially when someone bumps a big piece of terrain or they are tired.
Let's go Dad Hammer arc! I've been waiting to see the recap since Charlotte told me you were bringing a titan. My competition days are well over too. I took a meme to Worlds and spent LVO as a Kill Team judge instead.
Those kitbashed Plaguebearers look really freaking cool. Love the use of Kruleboyz, with the skull heads. I've been wanting to employ some skull-headed models, for use as Malal Daemons. (The plan is to use a bunch of Satyrs from RGD Gaming, with animal skulls for heads; use them as "Claws of Malal", which was the name of obscure Malal-aligned Beastmen).
Man super glad you were able to make a video again, miss the chaotic nature of them and the "we are playing with war dollies so chill out" attitude. It's funny that you are saying that 10th is pretty bland rn bc im having the same feelings with 4th of AoS but with even blander warscrolls/datasheets and smaller amounts of choices. As a player rn im just enjoying the game with friends and painting a sope army but as a TO its kinda hard to get everyone jazzed to play the same bland game month after month for RTTs.
After seeing photos of your list at LVO I'd been hoping you might have a video like this about this! Most excellent! loving your work! Also random question but is the intro you playing guitar/your band?
@@thesampsonite it is thanks!!! Here’s a link to that song, there’s a bunch of 40K inspired tracks on the channel: ua-cam.com/video/lHrszEkfCs0/v-deo.html
Your views on 10th are a good parallel to modern video game design. The developers of Diablo 4 very much want you to play within their pre-defined sandbox.
You should try the Narrative event at LVO next year. Way more casual and fun getting paired up with random team mates. I did it and am never doing champs again.
@@PelicanOfWar I honestly have kind of a hard time with narrative games with strangers sometimes, I had a great time at the GW narrative event a couple years ago but some of the ones I’ve seen outside of that just feel like tournaments where everyone knows their rules less but are still equally invested in winning. I’d be open to trying it though!
@@billiondollarclownfarm Hmm the "Narrative" was a bit slim and it did seem like a tourney where people were not as good now that you describe it that way. Though the doubles format mixed with a lot of people just going to hang out with crazy painted armies gave the event a good vibe. I think everyone in the event knew there is nothing to win, even name recognition so the sweaty tryhard got swept away really quick.
@@mythdid7926 I think you still still get the benefit of cover from other intervening terrain features, of which there are usually a lot/it’s easy to hide behind one ruin and toe into another for LOS
@@mythdid7926 lol i could be wrong too but my understanding was other intervening terrain features the warhound is partially hidden behind still count for cover. i wasn't even positive if he didn't receive cover from the ruin he was toe into to be honest, i think either way it's pretty easy to toe into one ruin and partially obscure yourself with another (partially behind but without a toe in/intervening between the unit targeting you and the warhound).
Always a good day when I see BDCF upload. LVO sounds like a good time, but I don't think I have the stamina for the main tournament. The Adepticon Friendly is more my speed.
@@TheStuffedIguana if you use the 40K app and select “chaos titan legions” as your faction it automatically keeps track of your ally points for you too
For me I have not had a chance to play warhammer 40k much as my old shop in my area's scene died out due to some of the players not having that day open in their schedule and I have disability issues that affect my ability to move the small minis but in the future I maybe able to afford them anyway I prefer when I play to use my wealth of knowledge of military strategy and unconventional uses of my units for example I am an ork player by trade and use the grots as like special forces to pick up points and to just lock up the big threats in combat so I can score points at will just my thoughts

The roll off to win, and the 6 round Eldar game is very funny. Mid Table, pissed up 40k. Good stuff.
The ork from the cursed table was left on the main hall floor so I saved it and it's gonna be my new boss soon. Every Git needs a second chance.

Great video! I'm so glad the Warhammer community has awesome people like you in it
I hope Rotigus enjoyed the muffin, also I really like your earrings!
Was fun to see your army at LVO and meet you this year.
that ultramarine player sounds like my kind of 40k player lol
I saw your army on the display board in person and it looked fantastic!
impossible to balance is also why it was so fun, impossible to optimize for the players means trying weird stuff is cool!
Loved seeing this at LVO, it was an awesome army with an awesome theme!
I just think you're so wonderful Tyler.

i would love to se a Lord of skulls painted if you have the chans or engery. The titan and knights looks so cool
You dont take a battleshock test when you move through buildings, you just roll a dice and on a 1 you are battleshocked
Those knights look amazing
Do you have a video about that baby tower thing?
No not yet, recorded one but need to edit!
