I wrestle with drawer slides vs wood on wood drawers a lot. While drawer slides are easy to open, and sometimes close themselves. Wood on wood seems to last longer without needing repair. I enjoy seeing you do both in your videos April. 😃

For wood on wood drawers get some thin dollar store plastic cutting boards slice into 1 or 1/2 inch strips and screw or glue to the bottom of the drawer. Glides like a dream.
I would have used a clear acrylic sheet over glass seen way too many shower doors and walls break for no reason at all.

Terrific example of good design. Question: I understand the shelves will be for display only (and they visually complement the shelves on the back wall). But will items be sealed within those front shelves once the glass is installed? Or will portions of the glass be cut into hinged doors to allow access?

    •  2 місяці тому +1

I believe the glass is going to start on each step and then up to the ceiling
