Why in the hell doesn’t the pool come with a shut off valve for the inlet hose? I put my pool together, filled it, and now can see how to shut off the inlet to the pump without possibly installing the shut off plugs inside the pool but would have to remove the strainer caps that are in there. Pretty silly not to ship with an inlet shut off

Good tutorial. My pump froze over the winter and cracked. Now I'm searching for a good replacement pump/filter.

Bummer. These pumps are definitely at risk of cracking during freezing weather.
