Q: What qualifications do you have to review makeup and skincare?
A: Nothing formal but I've started to learn more about makeup and skincare over the last two years. I consider myself an amateur but an enthusiast and my reviews will help a non make-up artist see how a product might work for them.
Q: What is your real job?
A: I’ve been working in not-for-profit organizations for 15 years.
Q: What kind of skin concerns do you have?
A: My skin is combination where my T-zone gets oily. I have pores I would like to minimize and some skin redness. I’m also in my late 30s so wrinkles and anti-ageing is a concern. Oh and I do get break-outs from time to time. So I have a bit of everything!

Holy moly I went make to rewatch your Ranking Oil Cleanser video to see if you've tried the Neutrogena HydroBoost Cleansing Oil and noticed how much your face has changed since then. Your face is a lot more refined and beautiful! You're beautiful no matter what but just wanted you to know that your weight loss is very noticeable! Keep it up (if that's what you want to do) because it is working!

Andrea Dake It’s that okay with oily skin to use neutrogena hydroboost cleansing oil? What can get rid off? Like acne or scars or others?

The Palmer's worked beautifully on me surprisingly but I have combination skin and I ALWAYS double cleanse......I actually prefer it to the DHC which I also use. I was worried about the thickness but surprisingly, I got no pimples, no burning in the eye area. It cleaned my skin completely however I do not use waterproof mascara, but I used a MAC pressed powder which gives full coverage. I heard it does not take off waterproof mascara though. Some love the scent, some hate it lol. I will advise once you are using an oil cleanser, to double cleanse with a water based cleanser. After I massage the oil on my skin, I wet my hands and massage again.....then I wash it off and use my CeraVe cleanser. Glowing perfect skin everytime 😊😊

Hi what is DHC?
I also love this. Palmer's has more than one facial oil cleanser if you would prefer one less fragrant. This one is clearly the Rosehip formula so it will smell like roses.
Meanwhile I love this oil for my pretty skin definitely gonna stock up on some ! ❤leave my skin so pretty smooth & silky
I bought it recently and its super cool, apparently they improved and now is not that scented, it smell like nothing so its cool
I use this and LOVE the smell. And I don’t find it overpowering at all. It works great for me!

I've been searching for about 2 years and have yet to find the perfect oil cleanser or balm that I would call a favorite. I always double cleanse so I've "put up with" a lot them. One I can tell you to stay away from is the Pacifica Coconut Dissolve Cleansing Oil; I have sensitive eyes like you and that one irritates my eyes terribly! I've been tempted many times to try the Tatcha but ugh! the price! Thanks for this review, now I know to stay away from the Palmers! 😊
Pacifica has a great marketing team but I've hated literally anything I've ever tried from them :( even the bath products sucked.
Don’t rule out this product!! It smells like a nice light rose flower, nothing overwhelming. It works amazing for me and removes all my makeup including eye makeup!!
Have you ever tried the Neutrogena HydroBoost cleansing oil? I personally really like it and it's pretty inexpensive $8 at Wal-Mart. If you see it I'd encourage you to try it if you haven't already done so. The one thing I'm not thrilled about is that it kinda feels like it dries before I get a chance to completely rub it into my skin. Not enough to keep me from buying it as I've repurchased it 4 times so far. :)

I've had this for a while now, and it's just okay. I really like the Neutrogena cleansing oil much better than this one.
A few people have mentioned the Neutrogena oil. I haven’t found it in store but I’ll look for it online.
@@theMelissaJoyce I'm in Canada and I buy mine on Amazon, I have seen it at winners though(Canadian tj Maxx)
It rinses off much better, and is thinner. It's my go to, when I run out of my DHC.
I just a started using this oil and just like you I got some small whiteheads. What I noticed is the oil needs to be fully washed off. You gotta really swipe it of your face. Idk if that was Palmers intention to have a somewhat glow but I make sure to completely get it off.
I've moved on to different facial oils but that's a great tip!
I use DHC it has no fragrance added but it’s made from olive oil, it doesn’t smell good and yes it gives me foggy eyes, but it does get the make up off. I always double cleanse....I was really hoping this was going to be good.. bummer... I think you tried this one before?? Anyway I’ll keep ya posted if I find anything
I don't believe I've tried DHC, it doesn't sound familiar and I don't think I've used any that have been olive oil based. Thanks for sharing that - the search will continue!

You should contact Palmers and find out if you can either get a refund or if they make a fragrance free oil cleanser

I HATE this! I can't get the oil off my face, and it has that old-lady too-sweet smell to it! I'm so disappointed. Wish I'd watched this video before I bought it!
