I used to install These at a Toyota dealership, if you do it yourself and your truck isn’t basically brand new , plan on buying wheel bearings. The old ones need to be beaten off with a hammer EDIT : no cross member cutting with the lots we used from TOYTEC . COM
Had a 3 inch and 33s on my 08 then went to a 6 inch and 35s absolutely hated it sold the truck bought a 13 and put the same 3 inch with 33s on it and a supercharger that was 4 years ago no issues freakin love the truck
Maybe add the original air date in description. Mostly because I'm just curious and I don't want to think I am going crazy by seeing "new" content that I may have already seen. Am I a time traveler? Maybe.
I've yet to drive a truck with a leveling kit that used blocks on the front strut that didn't ride like trash. The thing they replaced it with is definitely not the best way. Currently I'm running the Rough Country 2" leveling struts and it rides like stock.
Exactly. This is like on hd pickups. Many want a lift but few go the suspension route. Such as a carli or thuren suspension. This thing likely rides like donkey poo.
@@brandonm6052 absolutely most folks do cheap body lift or cheap suspension lifts. They do ride like poo, have either stock or less articulation. Doesn’t matter since most want the look not the performance
They don't. You need to reflash the ecu for the larger tires that way the speedometer is correct and the transmission isn't confused by the larger tires.
First you should strengthen the flimsy frame, the Tundra frame is way too weak, watch Ford 150 vs Chevy Silverado vs Dodge Ram vs Toyota Tundra and see the Tundra try and throw the bed completely off the frame, weak as crap

The first episode of Powernation's spiritual successor to TRUCKS! known as Truck Tech.
It's the same show, but with a new name.
Good to see a throwback with my favorite hosts
Im not a big truck guy, but they are my favorite power nation host as well
These guys are much better than the later guys.
They still can't hold a match to Stacey
That wheel hub came off easier than any I’ve had to replace haha

And just like that? Another Mall Crawler is born, soon to be seen at a Forever 21 near you!
The intro guy sounds like he's finally quit cocaine.

Looks pretty easy actually thought it would be more difficult
BDS really put some work into this kit!
Pls make them all in one video
This host has the right tempo. All I can do is stare and drool
I would have done a rear leaf spring replacement with a U bolt flip kit and 86 those blocks
Why remove the strut spacer/leveling kit to just put a worse designed "extender"?

Do they make a lift kit for a 57 Power Wagon ?
So 4 1/2 of lift but no more articulation then stock. I get the extra ground clearance but if I did all that work I’d want better articulation.
lol the most articulation this thing is gonna see is accidentally popping a curb at Walmart, no way this thing is gonna see gravel!!
@@johnclark6139 you make a good point.

This is the most awesome
How much do the larger tires affect the accuracy of the odometer?
They don't. You need to reflash the ecu for the larger tires that way the speedometer is correct and the transmission isn't confused by the larger tires.
dammit, just gleaked on myself.
Please make video toyota corona 1969 rt40 please soon
