Yeah it does sound like it.
It"s very similar to calypso. That particular beat is called "soca" I think.

😅😅There's alot of things. But you'll need a good knowledge of executing rudiments fluidly. Rudiments like Six Stroke Roll, Single Paradiddle and some others
