The founding fathers also would not had thought that germ warfare would had been a constitutional right, because that would kill even the "good guys". But certainly, they thought that ARMS that the COMMON MAN could use, especially if they were called up for militia service, would be Constitutional. That includes cannons and tanks. Nothing in the NFA bans them. They just simply do an unconstitutional tax, that one day has to be struck down.
