Me too! Then I can finally work on something else, again 😆👍 It blows my mind how long it’s taking, but it’s very close to being finished. Thanks for hanging in there. 🙏
As anticipation builds for the upcoming release of "The Silver Age [Mountains] - The Complete Beginner's Guide To VALHEIM Series #4," I find myself eagerly counting down the hours until I can once again immerse myself in another masterpiece. With just one day left until the unveiling of this highly anticipated instalment, the excitement in the air is palpable. From the very first chapter, "The Complete Beginner's Guide To VALHEIM Series [Noob? Start Here] #1," you've taken us on a journey unlike any other. Each chapter has been a revelation, a testament to your unwavering dedication to both your craft and the Valheim community. But it's in this upcoming chapter, "The Silver Age [Mountains]," where I sense your brilliance will shine brightest. Your ability to blend education with entertainment, to guide us through the perilous mountains of Valheim with humour and charm, is unmatched. I have no doubt that this chapter will be yet another testament to your skill as a presenter and content creator. In a world oversaturated with content, your series stands out as a shining beacon of excellence. You've not only taught us how to play Valheim but have also created a community united by a shared passion for gaming and laughter. Your impact is immeasurable, inspiring countless players to embark on their own epic adventures. Thank you, Rob, for your tireless dedication and for sharing your talents with the world. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough, and I eagerly await the release of "The Silver Age [Mountains]" with bated breath. With the utmost anticipation and admiration.
@@CubSW apparently I can’t pin a reply, which is a shame. This is the nicest, most generous comment I’ve received to date. Thank you so much for taking the time to write it. I don’t see how the Mountains video can possibly live up to this, but thank you for believing it can. Your comment means the world to me 🙏
@@gamestar.nation Passion speaks volume, I'm in the process of creating modpack for my first Valheim playthrough in which my brother will be joining me. You cemented the idea for me trying this game out for sure, I'm also considering documenting it & creating a series which I'd post on this channel
One tip about terraforming that I found incredibly helpful when building is to use Raise Ground to find the terrain grid. When you make a pillar of earth it always goes up in a square shape, because in Valheim the terrain is based on a grid, and walls of earth will always be flush with that grid. Anything rectangular that I build will be lined up with that grid so that if I want to add a basement or cellar later, the walls will be flush and not jagged :)
Also, when you are set on Level Ground, if you hold Shift and click, it will level it where your mouse is pointing, NOT where your feet are. :) Helps a lot with slopes.
Yes more Valheim guides!! I so love this game, it's so chill and fun to play solo and with friends too! I wish there will be more games like this, in this year and years to come.
Yyup, Enshrouded end of this month and then Nightingale in February, this year starts strong in the survival genre. Nightingale is from ex-BioWare devs, so the guys who made the Mass Effect universe 15 years ago, and with a gaslamp fantasy setting giving me Dishonored vibes. Then there is my old fav hidden gem, Vintage Story. Though that's a more blocky and very classic survival focused game, not the more action RPG type, like Valheim. Started off as a Minecraft mod inspired by TerrafirmaCraft, but they ended up building it as a stand-alone game. While the combat is pretty meh, the detail in crafting mechanics, prospecting, crop rotation, and all the little things is off the charts. Pure bliss and immersion.
@@gamestar.nation Interest yeah... Hype... not anymore. Conceptually great, but they got into a content creep and who knows when it'll be ready. That's why I haven't mentioned that one. The Tencent money behind Riot Games is slightly concerning too, but it's hard to get around them... and if I'm unwilling to step away from Armored Core, sure as hell won't skip Nightingale and Hytale just because of CCP stuff. Fun fact, Tyron, lead dev of Vintage Story used to be part of the Hytale team. Worldgen and climate modelling but then they parted ways due to creative differences. An this time that seems valid, not just corpo speech. Hytale seems to go more of an RPG route, with a more cartoony artsyle and many fantasy elements. Vintage Story is more of a realistic hardcore survival route with depth of mechanics many would consider tedious but also is ultra immersive for a smaller group. So yeah, not concerned with the details during development, or when it's ready. But when the time comes, I'll check on it for sure.
I really appreciate your style and the videos you've put together! I downloaded Valheim back when it first came out and never got into it :/ I was poking around on UA-cam and after coming across your video on the bronze age, I was inspired to try again in earnest! After a week or so, I'm preparing to fight that Bonemarrow boss guy thing and thought I'd take a break and actually work on my base. That was yesterday, and now you release this just in time to help me get my scrub shack on a hill, that's impossible to work with carts, accessible! P.S. You said hoe. lol
🤣 Grats on the fast progress and thanks for kind words! Goodluck on the Bonemass fight. Don’t short yourself on the poison resist and healing potions. 👍
Sorry bruv, I work a full time job that I drive an hour each way for, I have a wife and 2 kids that are active in school. I work on videos when I can (and I am still working on the mountains), but it takes me time. Especially the biome guides. If that’s all I released, my channel would die and nobody would even get the notifications when the guides dropped. I’m glad you’re looking forward to it. It means a lot to know there are people actually waiting to see my videos. I just can’t rush it and can’t always make the deadlines that I try to set for myself. It’s coming. I just want it to be worth the wait.
Looking forward to the silver age video
