Every day we learned something new i've seen those wheels behind the cement trucks driving around nyc and many times those trucks were overloaded and i didn't know how important those wheels are on cement trucks and thought they were spear tires thanks for sharing
I notice that the concrete trucks where I live do not have the tag axles at the very back of the truck, but between the back the cab and the front of the drum. Is there an advantage to either design?

Tag axles help with weight distribution, the ones with axles on the back are called bridgemasters and are used for bridge length restrictions.
If you’re maintaining four points of contact, you’re not gonna be able to climb down. Lol.
