This is stunning, thank you so much for sharing. I got into pastels start of this year and was doing ok with them. Then I followed one of your tutorials and it unlocked something and changed the way I now approach my artworks. So thank you!
Lindy..I had noted that you rarely use pastel mat paper...u always use sanded paper ...any particular reason why you don't use pastel mat much? I don't like pastel mat but wanted to know from you please
I'm not a great fan of Pastel Mat paper. It's quite expensive to buy in Australia, andI find it too smooth for my style and subjects . I like using sanded paper ...Colourfix is made by an Australian company (Art Spectrum) and is a favourite for valu and the lovely range of colours. But this time I used La Carte which has a cork based finish and takes the pastel beautifully- quite expensive and not available locally but I do have a small stash.
I rarely use pastel pencils...I have a set of Derwents that I occaisonally use for a very fine line but I prefer using hard sticks such as Nupastel for detail work.
Loved watching this Lindy!
Glad to have you back on YT Lindy.
Hello Lindy, good to see you here again reminding why I learned pastels so quickly! It's been a fast 7 years!
Has it really been 7 years? You had a lot of natural talent and a very good work ethic...that's why you got good so quickly :)
@@LindyWhittonStudio thank you!

@@LindyWhittonStudio thanks for honest opinion. Do you like Art spectrum original or smooth?
@@sujanithtottempudi2991 I use both , maybe Original just sneaks ahead,
Do you ever use pastel pencils? If so which brand do you like?
