Outstanding storm! I,for one, enjoy your commentary, as well. Bless you for your bravery, and thank you for the Post. Enjoy all. Have a great day whatever it's doing.
We get worse here in Perth Western Australia. We get the torrential rain, but its often accompanied by strong winds coming in off the Indian Ocean. Last big storm we had knocked all the power out in pretty much the whole city of Rockingham and the suburbs thanks to 110kph (70mph) wind gusts! Thank God for AWD!
An absolutely fantastic video The video shows the car in this video has wipers that automatically detect the rain intensity and adjust speed which is really cool
I haven't even watched it yet, but, being a car nut, I really appreciate that fact that you put the make, model AND TRIMLEVEL!!!! of the car you're driving. Thank you. Are you listening world?
The headlights are pretty much the same but the Focus' fog lights work a lot better. I'd rather drive the Fusion in the rain because the Focus' stupid loud over-engineered wipers didn't work very good.
Yes there's a lot traffic remember the USA is a very very big country for sure that is the reason for a lot of traffic, if you get bored or tired just open your window let's some air in and you will be OK in ten seconds.
The Fusion is about as quiet as a 2012 Focus SE with 16" wheels but is a little quieter than the Titanium with 17" rims. In other words it's quieter than my Titanium.
Great video! you're like me - would love to go driving in a massive storm! Nice dials on the Fusion :D Our storms in the UK are nothing like the US versions which is annoying! I've got a 2004 Focus btw :D
That might be part of the same storm we got here in NJ today... we had a massive downpour (with some hail) for about half an hour, which of course I had to be out driving in!
@jakeman165 I wouldn't say people didn't look at the other cars. I would take a corolla cause it's just a basic car. No turbocharger, no CVT, no digital speedo etc. A corolla is basically the most basic compact car you can buy sort of like a muscle car. It sticks to its starting roots but I agree the corolla is failing in design.
Love the video. But if I would give some friendly advice, don't talk in these types of videos, at least while you're driving. No offense. It's just a bit jarring to take someone out of the immersion and soft subtle sounds of the rain hitting the windshield and the wipers only to then here someone say something, especially when you hold the camera right in front of you. Naturally your mouth will be a lot closer to the mic, and will be louder. Other than that, AWESOME videos. This one and the Jetta one. Hell, you should even do one in the Towncar. lol, I'm serious.
mercmilan06 Well yeah, I can see how a video without commentary, driving along in the rain could be a bit creepy. But what I'm thinking of isn't necessarily for watching the video, but a lot for the sound. As a type of sleep sound track. Driving down the road in the rain, windshield wipers and such. Ever consider doing a video like that?
Lol. OH. I see. So you'll drive the Fusion through a severe thunderstorm and risk getting into an accident caused by low visibility... but you won't do a 0-100 in the Fusion! lol.
@Davidsky495 IMO Toyota and honda (mostly Toyota) are now just trying to get by on their reputation instead of actually producing cars with buyers' preferences in mind. the corolla is very uninspiring in every aspect, other than its reliability... even though Toyota last forever, the interior build quality is still below other manufacturers' standards. reputation means alot in terms of sales, but not always in product quality.
@Dantemxl let it go, the corolla sucks, and if some1 buys one, they most likely did not even try to compare the corolla to the much better competition that there is out there (almost every other car in the compact class).
Outstanding storm! I,for one, enjoy your commentary, as well. Bless you for your bravery, and thank you for the Post. Enjoy all. Have a great day whatever it's doing.
In this video I particularly love how quiet the engine is
I love just watching you drive around your beautiful countryside neighborhood. Wish I had that much clean, open space around here.
Many people aren't as lucky as others are
I could watch this allllllllll day!

I'm so glad I found this video, my son likes It for the Wipers. He is obsessed with wipers
Yup. Nice one. Because nothing kills a good thunderstorm video more than Corey Hart.
Question, can I use this clip for a music video cause I have a ford fusion song and I'll credit you
Sure, go for it

Muy buen video amigo y el día estaba espectacular!⛈🌨🌩
I can most certainly say severe thunderstorms certainly produce a huge amount of rainfall in under an hour
Should have taken the boat town car! Its natural home is the water!
Love your channel because of videos like this. Spontaneous vids of cars, nothing's rehearsed. Plus I love thunderstorms :P
I like how I just looked outside and there's a thunder storm. A serve one too. Then I go on UA-cam and find this video...quite interesting!
You mean Severe
I don’t like thunderstorms they scare me sometimes. I use to enjoy it but I just can’t anymore it scares me.
That cabin is so cozy
thank you for the ride!
haha you're welcome, kitty :D
@@EricAtMazda cracking video 100% fantastic
@@EricAtMazda Hi what state were you in on this video
I absolutely love driving in the rain. Not entirely sure why, I just do.
It means you are a weather fanatic
You're so lucky to be able to park inside a garage.

Wrong UK storms have at times been so strong that they end up producing 130mph tornadoes

I really with the Fusion Sport came with a 6-speed manual transmission.
i enjoyed you talking
i love storm :)

EricAtMada I love music I love that song
Love your videos!! :)
That was certainly a huge crack of thunder⚠️
80's on 8
my sport has the rain sensing wipers....they go crazy during thunderstorms lol.
That was a nice vido man
You mean video
cool your from aus im from cairns where we get similiar weather cyclones!!
@mercmilan06... quick question, did you find it easier to see in the fusion or focus during the night time, or rainy weather?
You should probably use a coating of rain-x on the windsheild. Helps out a lot with visibility.

Yeah, not too far away from Burlington
Are you from Vermont? If so which part? I am from VT, lol. Love the video!
No because I don't have it anymore...
If you set the wipers on my Taurus on high the whole car shakes. 3:30 made me chuckle. Do you and your brother have many things in common?
"Everybody sucks!" 😂
do u need to adjust your drivers wiper arm it looks a bit dodgey
How much quieter is Fusion than the Focus on road?
That just made its way through here. I'm in Toronto, Ontario.
crazy
Lol thanks, Eric, the entertainment is much appreciated :)
Lol, your commentary near the end was pretty funny!
Cool 😎
That beeping was the park aid?
Yes
Hey, mercmilan06! can you do a full wash/waxing video of this car please.

SERIOUSLY ERIC? ANOTHER MINIVAN? They just LOVE invading your driveway, don't they?
Like the music then you were reversing
haha ''Does it always have to be a Corolla!!!!!!''
I sent you a video response of my 2010 Mercury milan v6 and i have more videos on my channel is you want to see them
I wish the radio was left on. : (
That would have made the video completely pointless as the rain sound would have been muffled slightly
I would liked to listen to the rain rather than you talk.Thanks.
It isn't illegal to drive through a thunderstorm...
