American schools be built like enormous airports and shopping malls 🤨
Because there are literally thousands of students in one building. And they all exchange classrooms at the same time.
the group a lot of students into schools that's why. like 3,000 is normal
my high school has 600 people...

Some of them are open campuses tho, like our school district, so the buildings resemble a college campus more. In my area I've personally never even seen an indoor school like these despite living in America lol
I wish my school had people like yours. Whenever we play at football games or even get in block to March into the stadium, anyone who walks by us just makes fun of us. I enjoyed watching this and seeing some people bop out.
same dude, there are some that make fun of our marching band, but most of the school and football team loves us which is sick. Plus sometimes the football team during games would request us to play one of our warmup pieces since it apparently gets them pumped, it’s funny but awesome!

I used to be in drumline and man those drums are heavy, I cant believe u went up and down the stairs with them! Awesome job 👌

I had to do the football HoF parade which is 3 miles and it took us 2 hours to get through with the pace of the parade. Also during July with a base drum but at least it’s not a tuba

I started quads as a sophomore this year but we didn’t get to do this or any parades because of covid, and this video reminds me of how fun it was on bass 3 last year marching through the halls and in the Christmas parade. Miss it so much and this video is like my dream for next year
I don’t see how you can play on small quads like those but good sounds tho and way to stay in time
Those quads are trash!! The only reason we use them to March the halls is because our actual tenors are to big to fit through the doorways.

I went to school in the next neighborhood and I’ve gotten to see them march before. Very fun experience!
Some say the tenors were out of tune and as much as I agree they sound beautiful 😍

US high schools really are something else. If someone walked through my crappy English comprehensive playing the drums they'd either get a knife through the drums, get the drums stolen, get told off by the teachers or resoundly mocked for putting effort into something.
bro how did you walk up the stairs with a tenor that smooth and fast WHILE PLAYING? it’s my first yr of marching and i’m on snare. i’ve went up the stairs once and i literally fell up the stairs and my drum came off

I’ve been playing quads since 7th grade now going to 8th and my band director is combining the highschool marching band with the middle school marching band i can’t wait for this year

Seeing how big is this school is impressive, I'm Italian and I think in Italy schools that big don't even exist or maybe are only near very big cities but usually universities are also much smaller than this structure. So long live to Italy.

What a huge school
I've gone here for 3ish years now walking the same halls nearly 700,000 other people have seen, is such a strange feeling. For those wondering, we have only 5 minutes to make to classes that somtimes are all the way across the damn school. It kinda sucks but it is what it is.
The 2023 Freshman just grauated last year and it is weird to know that later that school year, their world was thrown off balance.
They just did the 2023 Homecoming drumline this morning with a new set of drummers.
And for the record, its been about 4 years since this came out and still nobody knows how to fucking walk in these halls.

At 4:17, that was a cadence we played at the end of another, where we're from, we called it Thunderbolt!
Also at 9:36 we called that Drumline 2.0 😂😂😂
Yes that is thunderbolt! The cadence we played before it is called Mirage and we usually put them together and call it “Longbolt”. Both are written by Cassidy Byars.
Drum line 2.0 is a good name lol. We called it canon ball because the main character in the drumline movie is named Nick canon.
