Dude...Here's the facts in ALL racing...
If you leave the track, you can not gain positions and re-enter. You can not gain positions by leaving the track under any circumstances.
The dude who left the track was in fact entering to gain position, not merge onto the track in his original potion.
Therefore...The whiney snowflake cheater is actually penalized. That snowflake should be penalized 10 seconds or more for the double infraction.
Leaving the track to gain position
Entering the track in a reckless manner.
Case closed bitches. That's racing no matter what it is you are racing.

I think everyone in the top 3 has a pretty solid argument for winning.
Palmer could say Leib cut the track, so in theory there shouldn't have been a need for the contact....but Leib also cut because he was forced off from the brothers crash. Leib did accelerate off track; but that is probably the weakest infraction of all of them.
Leib could say DQ for the intentional contact. Also Palmer cut the track after the contact which could be a penalty.
3rd place could say DQ them both for their separate infractions.
That was kind of like a super close boxing fight that you tell yourself it could go either way and you'd understand. I think if I were the judge, I'd have ruled for equal splits between the top 3, and if that didn't fly I'd give it to 3rd place (if you are gonna call one infraction, you gotta call them both). But I wouldn't knock any choice the judges made. Would be a super tough decision with no answer being 100% right.

If that were any local A class race last lap pass it would’ve been justified. Dude cut out a whole roller section. And just came flying back in on the track trying to advance a position. That take out was so clean though i was hype.

I'm gonna get so much hate for this regarding the "TAKE OUT" pass during the final lap of the money race, but I honestly don't agree with that dirty of passes.
Back in 2017 during the final lap of the 250 championship race, Osborne still kept his championship, but was fined very heavily because of the very aggressive pass he made on Savatchy.
That dirty of a pass during the final lap of the money race DID end up resulting in an injury. So I agree with the director's call to disqualify the winner.

I'm a Dad and if my Son had cut the track like this guy did and was hit by another rider when racing back onto the track and putting himselfin the lead riders way, then I as a Father would not coddle my Son and say he did nothing to cause the incident. This is not how responsibly is taught , I'd then take him to the hospital to get his little boo boo looked at because after all I do love my son .
