I severely suspect this, since your MMR will remain high if your individual performance is outstanding. Also, you'll lose fewer points (or even gain some) if you have performed well in a match you lost. Stop blaming your team. You're bad.

dont rely on luck. If your actual skill isnt gold you will down to silver again sooner or later. When i was bronze i got many winstreak and got to silver 3, but i get back to bronze again.

Pro tip: when you’re on Plat-Diamond - you can forget about any expectations or team tactics. You can give info all you want, but 95% won’t listen and won’t say a word in voice chat themselves, cause they have probably the biggest ego’s you’ve ever seen. So just push through it, be the only one talking in the team, if that’s the case. You will improve, and if you come across those few players, who will also use voice chat - you can have great team coordination with them. Don’t mind the other 95% who are “too cool” to speak in voice chat and contribite to team mentality and coordination Edit: and if you’re one of those 95% - find love in life or at least touch grass or talk to your parents

this explains why one of my mates thought i was smurfing because of comms, im a plat player and i have had teammates thinking i was smurfing cuz i gave really good comms and had a good mental even when half was 11-1for the enemies, we ended up winning the game 12-14cuz i brought back up mental and morale to keep playing, i dont have the best aim and i wouldnt say my mental is always good, but my team sure thinks so, as said im a plat 1 player and im currently maining phoenix, match mvp or 2nd top almost every game

the way that the term lower sense will make the game easier is said is quite misleading. Having a lower sens isnt going to make you a better aimer its about comfort and actual practice. I can aim just as good on 20cm/360 as i would on my normal sens of 40cm/360. As long as ur not playing on something nuts like 5cm/360. you can improve your aim with good practice.

Ok im sorry if this makes anyone mad but I dont really care. I get so mad when people just say that iron-bronze players have no game sense and have 0 clue what theyre doing. I dont play ranked that much and am in bronze but I do where to properly have my crosshair and how to support my team. I now people might think that thats because im not really a bronze player i just dont play ranked but many of my friends and people i find while playing ranked are the same or even better than me. Many people in iron-bronze know what theyre doing and have great game sense. They just dont have the same aim as pros. You actually didn't detail any flaws for gold rank, which sadly is one of the most populated and diverse rank in the game... I would have been nice to have at least SOME ideas of what can possibly be done wrong. ( I know you mentioned not doing retakes and 5 man pushes effectively but I would have expected more specific individual flaws )
I’d argue Gold’s start understanding movement a little better, but this causes many of them to start moving too much. If you’ve ever heard of the mechanic ‘deadzoning’ then you know what I mean. Gold’s will unintentionally deadzone because they try to move soo much that they’ll end up shooting randomly in their movement. Now, deadzoning is a GOOD mechanic, but doing it too much or by accident will hurt your aim especially when it isn’t at the highest level. When I was in gold I noticed this problem and after learning how to deadzone properly I reduced unnecessary movement and started actually thinking about why I was moving. I also started to main 2 agents instead of experimenting with a bunch. At a certain point I understood how every other agent plays so I started focusing on my own play style. Learning how to master 2 agents is super helpful and will take you very far if you do it right. Save the filling for higher ranks/lowest ranks. Anticipation is the last concept I started to understand, more when I was shifting between gold III and plat I. Basically understanding how to peak with confidence and anticipation that an enemy will be in my crosshair - helps reaction time and movement when peaking. I’m Ascendant III peak now and I believe I was only stuck in gold for 1 or 2 acts I can’t remember exactly, but everyone learns differently and improves at different rates, so just try to keep your fundamentals good and learn some more advanced concepts in their basic forms 😊 Oh also, I got a new PC which helped a ton. Don’t sleep on better equipment. If you play on a laptop you will have a skill ceiling unfortunately.

Do you know the streamer called eggster? All that mf does is complaining and he's the opposite of what u r describing as a good player but ny guy is radiant. Lol, I hop on his stream time to time, just to laught at him by seeing he's making dumb exucuses, blaming on the team and literally crashing out. have a good aim practice routine and do it every day, play 3 deathmatches a day
learn to have clean movement while in gunfights (don't run and gun by accident)
and don't be afraid of gun fights
when you are bronze or silver it's about learning the gun mechanics also about how to peak
good luck on the grind
Watch Royal G tutorial about counter straffing. If you counter straff you will be silver.
