Every summer after is one of my go to comfort reads too!! Usually I don't love flashbacks into child/teen brains because I find them missing something and still seems filtered through the adult mind or just exaggerated. But this author somehow gets it perfectly, including all the nostalgia feels of teen years and the summer. Hits 👌 for me.

Tbh, normaal vind ik het Nederlandse accent in het Engels echt verschrikkelijk, (don’t get me wrong, het is niet zo aanwezig hoor en heb het zelf soms heel erg haha) maar bij jou is het kinda cute
