I wish I could be this consistent in reading. I love books and I truely love to read once I made it into the book after a few pages, but I still find myself not being motivated to read. I have times where I literally devour books, that's how many I read... And then I have times where I don't even touch a book. How do you do that?😢😂❤
It’s vvvery normal for it to ebb and flow!! I think the best thing is to surrender to it and not putting pressure on yourself! The #1 thing is that it is supposed to be fun! Priorities change, interests change etc. If you do want to make it more of a structural habit though you can always try little things like putting a book by your bed, bringing it in your bag etc., so the changes of you picking it up do increase :) And sometimes stories suck and can be demotivating so I’d also recommend just dnf’ing when you’re not into it!! Life is too short for reading books we don’t even like lol Big hugs 💓

I actually read 12 books (350 to 800 pages) on February, when I count I was « did I really read that one on February ? » like that month is big ahah I was also surprised I had time to read since I work, go out, sport and taking of my horse… and then I remembered why I’m lacking on sleep 🫠

Loved Hail Mary and the book of the Martian is incredible. Love the video :) Continuing the Space theme here, i would recommend The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers.
Ahhh Interstellar is my favourite film too!! As a certified Sci-Fi FAN, if you want to read something else in the genre I cannot recommend Becky Chambers enough!! All of her novels are cozy and warm and beautiful! I just know you would love her ❤❤
Ahh I hope you end up liking it! This is a random addition to the reading experience, but the song Invisible String by Taylor Swift really connected to the story for me, so maybe it will for you too! I think it might finally be time for me to start reading A Little Life (Im nervous) 🥹
