Keep them coming. I really enjoy watching your UA-cam videos. John, Niagara, Canada.
Love all the metcalf kits, I have hundreds of the on my model railway..
Good to have you back Dan. The edging makes such a difference. A had a serious crush on a snelgrove many moons ago until he moved away!💔too soon!
I totally agree, MetCalfe really do make amazing models! They look spectacular!
Never seen a Metcalfe building in America. It’s very worth checking out. Not sure I’ll like the “fiddley” work but the outcome seems so worth it. Thanks for showing the build. 😃
Thank you for this video.
I've just started the same build and I'm sort of glad to hear that you also found it a difficult & complex build.
I always take the time to fill in the white cardboard lines with felt tip pens - it greatly improves the final result.
Nice job! I just finished this one yesterday. Felt like it went on forever but it looks great in the end. I like that I was able to cover up a few blunders.
Hi Dan, The Metcalfe kits look great but having built the pub (N Gauge) I am minded to say that they are a wee bit too complicated for N Gauge. Some of the construction techniques are probably fine in OO but as you pointed out trying to bend 1 or 2mm of card in N just does not really work. In N Gauge, less can be more and I would like to see them focus on photo realistic finishes instead or even the artistic approach that Graham Farish had on their Scenecraft kits prior to the Bachmann takeover.
Wonderful! You’ve got better eyesight than I !! Pigeons! Yes, pigeons.........but they’ll be minute! 😆
Metcalfe kits the best instructions, sturdy, great looking , ah is it available in oo
Those buildings are fantastic and the 3D effect is wonderful. I enjoyed your video which was interesting and well presented. I think you enthusiasm will rub off on me - well done!
Looks great love the design of building, looks like it has a history to tell!
That really is excellent Dan, very well done.
Looks great!
You skill in putting that kit together is to congratulated, it kooks absolutely fantastic. Cheers Greg
That looks like a quite nicely manufactured kit.
That revolving door is really something! :)
I love paper modeling but a health decline has gotten in the way of actually doing it, so I'll enjoy watching other people make them.
Looking good!🙂👍
Wonderful stuff love it glad to see you looking so happy its nice to catch up again big hugs:)))
Bloody hell Danny boy 2 vids up all ready like it sir 👍😎
Are you going to do a live stream this Sunday
No live streams for a while I’m afraid!
If anyone's interested in Australia I get my Metcalfe n scale kits from Woodpeckers model railway Pendle Hill.
The revolving door. A detail nobody will notice. It's the details nobody will notice which make a nice layout. The builder knows, then if anyone else notices they'll question the sanity of the builder. Just kidding. The details no one will notice are what I build for.
👍
I'm first here😉. Sounds good so far...
