Thanks for showing that Modeller issue #37. I just ordered one from an British eBay seller, $30 shipped. I also ordered the Polar Lights Kane from Amazon. I will follow your video. Can’t wait. Thanks!
As a novice modeler and recent subscriber to Your channel,Lou I find Your videos very fun to watch. I only wish that You would show more of the work being done. You could teach Your techniques to people who are trying to learn the craft. At any rate..good stuff here and I look forward to more videos.
An excellent point and now that my upload issue has been resolved and I can make longer videos, it's something I can now do more of. glad you are liking the show
Absolutely Awesome. Best build I have ever seen. Brings back lots of memories of a great series of film. Thank you so much. I'll have to see if I can find that model.
oh, I'm crazy enough, but those would be maddening to try to light. The arms are solid so they would have to be hollowed out. I'd rather face a real face hugger than to try that
Yeah, I was rather shocked and upset at Sci-Fi & Fantasy crying hold. When it was good it was great. The total scratch models and work for indie movies, sometimes big time stuff-- that was really excellent. A leetle-beetle too much dwelling on all things Anderson -- I stand next to no man in my admiration for all things Anderson, but I can say, "enough chocolate glazed donuts" too... Lighting-- they do make a black epoxy! But it seems like it might be nerve wracking around LEDs. Who doesn't like Googly Eyes? A million and one uses! Nice work on the egg top, which you've made a nauseatingly fleshy raw chicken (which should be a gaming paint color). I think you might put some twisted tufts of poly-fil with some white glue inside, maybe some see-through paints on it-- kind'a looking like a chest-burster all coiled up... ? Kane't say how impressed I am with the progress you're making, as quick as Kane painted Able!
I'll attribute the lopsided Anderson coverage to the fact that the mag was based in Britain. they also did a fair job on covering Red Dwarf and Doctor Who
It *was* a little British, wasn't it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not just an Anglophile, I'm a Fandersonite. But the range of articles was mind-boggling... I just wanted more of the high end. Kerr could have had a regular column, for example. So could Small-- or even yourself (and that's not trying to butter you up-- your article was really good, as is this channel). Their refurbishment articles were amazing-- but rare. It was the top flight magazine of the modeling world. Further, don't get me wrong-- I have a full run (-#40... don't know how that happened...) and as much of their earlier incarnation as I could find.

Tea light was a fantastic idea
The tea light is absolutely inspired!
An excellent episode.
I have the Kane kit as well, and the light pack, but am too chicken to build it. :P
Looks Fantastic
Looking good, Lou!
That is great looking, can't wait to see the finish. Just sub'd. :D Time to catch up on your videos.
Love the tea light!
Looks awesome, but what about those lights on the wrist-thingies?

I just noticed them on one of the reference photos you showed and thought I'd mention it.

Hi, Lou! I can’t find a copy of Sci fi And Fantasy modeler for less than $855. Can you help me with the paint colors, please? Thank you!
