Absolutely fair play to Pompey today, really dug their heels in and rode the wave from last season. Its great to see a good set of fans getting behind their team in the right way (Saville chants aside, which is always really disappointing to hear - separate topic) and enjoying themselves, actually put a small smile on my face seeing some of it in this video. If Portsmouth can keep that intensity up throughout the season and not just bring it for the 'bigger' games, youll be absolutely fine, top half comfortably. Leeds were pretty Leedsy today, dominate the game, create a lot chances, hit the frame, come up against a keeper on form and fluff just as much, its par for the course with Leeds in this division. Probably why most of us are glass half empty supporters 😂. Seriously good luck for this season, said it on another one of your videos, you come across as a genuinely decent bloke who loves his football club.

I think that’s a factor, albeit maybe a small one, as to why Leeds struggled to find that edge. I never would of thought we nearly beat Leeds. So happy for our first game result. To top it off the TFLOP was brilliant too. Jack ward will be over thr moon that oxford stuffed Norwich. What this performance underlined was squad depth - a necessity in the top 2 divisions. The team sheet contained no: Yengi, Bishop, Poole, McIntyre, Farrell or Murphy - all of whom are arguably certainties for our strongest line-up - and I was worried. However, Towler was immense; Ogilvie improved the longer the game went on; Pack and Lang oozed class and grit; Williams looked the goods; Saydee scared the hell out of them, and I think this could be the season Moxon establishes himself as a key player. Nothing I saw changes my mind that Leeds will prove themselves the best team in the league, but injuries notwithstanding, and a couple more additions, and I think we are top half.
i believe i said when i subscribed to your channel this game would not be easy...i had 2-1 to us in my head but its 11 v 11 and as history shows anything can happen...we could be standing at a bus stop 10 buses came along and we would miss everyone..never entered my mind Pompy would go down and thought just above mid table...i would rather favour a team determined and you have that....they did you proud and the result was no suprise to me...Portsmouth are a club very few dislike with great history and i truly hope you have a successful season..take care

I don't think it's overstating to say we could have been dead and buried after ten minutes . But an amazing game just !listening on the radio , I think even the commentator and Guy Whittingham couldn't believe it so thanks Tom and Andrew for the fans view . Considering we had players out as well it's an encouraging sign that John Mouhsino and the squad he's assembled are well up for this league .

After 10 minutes maybe we were all thinking the same thing? 😂 7 out of the starting 11 were playing L1 last season. Towler only a handful of matches. But what a performance. The boys stepped up for sure. Didn't back down and oh so nearly grabbed all 3. I'd have taken a point if offered at 12.30......but just a tad gutted (and at the same time relieved) to take it home with us 😂😂

Feels so surreal being back in the Championship having only ever seen us in League 1 and 2. What a ride we’re in for 🙌
I don't think it's overstating to say we could have been dead and buried after ten minutes . But an amazing game just !listening on the radio , I think even the commentator and Guy Whittingham couldn't believe it so thanks Tom and Andrew for the fans view . Considering we had players out as well it's an encouraging sign that John Mouhsino and the squad he's assembled are well up for this league .
We did appear well up for it David, incredibly proud of the fight and spirit shown. Plenty more of that and I think we’ll be okay this season. Thanks for sticking around on the channel mate!

I mean what a game that was 😅. Missed our first two goals 😤. Thought we were gonna lose like 6-0 after the pen went in so I’m delighted with a point! However I was also disappointed to not get the 3 points 😂😂. Such a great game and with a couple more in the door we’ll be comfortably mid table basing off today. Gooooood morning Andrew! Welcome back boys. The long hot summer of 24 is over (well, not quite....).
What a start! After 10 minutes maybe we were all thinking the same thing? 😂
7 out of the starting 11 were playing L1 last season. Towler only a handful of matches.
But what a performance. The boys stepped up for sure. Didn't back down and oh so nearly grabbed all 3.
I'd have taken a point if offered at 12.30......but just a tad gutted (and at the same time relieved) to take it home with us 😂😂
We start our Championship campaign with a point away to Leeds, Sorensen scoring on his debut and Lang with a late brace, gutted we couldn't hold on but a point away at one of the best teams is a decent start imo, PUP. 🔹️🔷️🔵💙
