Not EXACTLY the process for my Bosch dishwasher but the pertinent bits were enough to get me through the process, thanks so much for such detailed instructions!
Hi and thanks for replying. I have now found out how to remove the lid. The clips are actually located at the top front and just need to be pushed in slightly with a screwdriver or something similar while lifting the lid. The lid can then be removed. Thanks for the videos
Hi Nick, sorry the video is not clearer in this point. From memory the lids on Bosch dishwashers have two plastic clips about 50 mm in on the back edge. These need to be carefully lifted out of the way to allow the top to slide forward and be removed.
That's clear enough, but it would help if you could explain why you would need to replace a hinge. My dishwasher door is misaligned, but I don't know if it's because of a problem with the hinges or something else
Hi Simon, carefully examine the hinge for signs of damage or wear and compare with the one on the other side. It is likely if wear is present the hinge on the 'lower' side is worn.
What if only the plastic piece that connects to the hinge (where you used the flat head screwdriver to remove) is broken. Do I need to replace the entire hinge like you did?
Hi Jose, if you mean the plastic part shown at 2:11 we believe the plastic horseshoe shape is not available on its own and comes with the hinge plate shown in the video.
Thanks for the video. I have a Bosch countertop dishwasher (SKS60E12EU) and can't figure out how to remove the side panel in order to get to the hinge. Do you have any experience there?
Hi Viktor, we have not worked on one of these ourselves. Looking at the manufacturer's information there appears to be 3 screws on the front edges either side and two across the top and a similar number around the back edge. Once these are removed the cabinet should lift off.
What is the model number and problem Gill, we do have another video that may be more similar if your machine is different: ua-cam.com/video/BEq4cIEoJmM/v-deo.html
All of the critical parts that would actually help here are edited out. This vid is good for a general idea but not for details. Example. Taking door off; don't move panel too far because it's still attached. As she is taking door off I am thinking "where is she going to put it without damaging wires" Quick edit and miraculously there is a work surface right there.
+samlol23 Thanks for your comments. We are sorry you were disappointed with the video. They 'appearing worktop' was just the camera angle at the edit moved. We initially were filming from the front with the machine on the table top and the following shot was from the side showing the flat surface. While we do try and ensure the shots are accurate and show as much information (without becoming boring) we do accept that many shots could be better. and are always trying to ensure we get the information and balance right.

Hi Liz, glad the video helped if only a little bit.
Helen - this was very helpful, I took my door off and couldn't figure out how to replace the door guards. Your video showed them in place.
Thank you.
Thank you! The rubic's cube is back together and working fine thanks to your clear instructions.
Life-saving instructions! Thank you! I took the wrong screw out and dislodged the hinge from the inside of the door, LOL
Hi, thanks for your comment...glad to hear you managed to repair your machine with out help!

How did you take the top off?
To remove the top there should be two clips under the front edge that when pushed up will allow the top to slide back and be removed.
how to know the no and model of you dishwasher
The model number is etched on the edge of the door and is shown at 0:34
