Hi Leandro, me again, love these videos and they have helped me greatly with me adding additional functionality to my HMI program, i have a question regarding Export Data/Export Status no.1) has the new update of EOTE in regards to export data put a block on starting the HMI program if data storage is set to USB storage and no USB is present? seems to be the case and i have to revert back to internal storage to get the program to load (an error message to that affect is shown) no.2) do you have a video on Export Status yet? looking to add function to my trend screen when running export command, would like to show if successful or not and give error code if usb is not present or corrupt etc. TIA sam
@@blueo4k i received a similar question a few weeks back, i recommend you to create a grid with variables inside a content. I will probably create a video for this
Hi Leandro, You sir are a legend. I have a graph on a second screen that looks at the logged data. Is there a way that the data can be logging without being on the screen that has the graph? Currently if I move away from this screen then go back then all the logged data is lost.
Hi there! Usually when we want to use the trace first the variable needs to be configured in a logging group. Based on that configuration of the log the data avaialble for you to see in the trace, maybe it is related to that and the configuration on the trace. If not please update the software to the latest version and contact the support in your country: ua-cam.com/video/OgnkhPcSdZ4/v-deo.html
Hi there! I will guess that in the properties of the trend you will have that option to link to a variable or have a fixed value. I will "play" with it and i will create a video.
Hi Leandro! What I don't get is why we need to specify variable name inside "Channels" if we already have specified a "Group Name" that contains the variable names. We are doing the same task twice. If we asign a "Group Name", trend object should fill the channels with the info inside the group.
Hi there! We can have a logging group with multiple variables and maybe some of those do not require a trace because we just want to have the data in text so we need to specify the "Group Name" and the variable inside the logging group on the "Channels > Channel x".
@@LeTomasAHUMADA I understand the logic of what you say. It's just that may you could just load all channels when you select the logging group and just have a checkbox to enable/disable each trace. So it could all be more automatic, just saying. Thanks for the work, EOTE it's really.. convoluted 😅
@ ahhhh now i know what you mean 😊 if in the configuration of the logging the software allows you to bind a variable then it will be possible otherwise not

Thanks for your videos Leandro!!! Have you done the tutorial for the historical datas? Thanks again!!
Hi There! Not for the moment, i have been doing other videos but this one in on my list.
@@LeTomasAHUMADA Hello again Leandro, is possible to display some values for a variable(es. hourly values for 24h) in some sort of table? ❤❤

@@LeTomasAHUMADA I too am also interested how to access the historical data.

Do you or anyone from schneider have a video of Block Trend object?
Hi there! I will create one for next week.

is it possible to set frequency by variable?
Hi there! I am not 100% sure what you want to achieve but if you want to change a value of a variable in a PLC using the HMI is possible.
@@LeTomasAHUMADA , when I set the frequency of the logging interval for example 10 seconds, is there a way to change this via HMI to say 60 seconds.
@ ahhhh now i know what you mean 😊 if in the configuration of the logging the software allows you to bind a variable then it will be possible otherwise not
@@LeTomasAHUMADA thank you i thought that was the case, that's unfortunate, that would be a nice addition
@ you can always contact the Schneider support and request this feature. With time it may be added 🤞🏻
Hi Leandro, can you share the excel file at all for the record calculation. Thanks
Hi sam! it should be available now on the description.
