I love the boat show videos- especially when he hammers the throttles down- great music changes. Would love to see this z55 with the wrap around windshield like the z72. She's still a beauty though.

Beautiful boat, has some classic design elements to it (hearkens back to the vintage, fast, deep V-hull cabin cruisers of 40's and 50's), a little more exposure of the layout, propulsion spaces, electricals, tankage, deck gear would have been nice (but the model brochure surely has those details), very good performance review under open water conditions.
Loading a tender from the side exposes to wind at anchor, which can be strong enough to make the loading of the dinghy delicate, unprecise, or even dangerous.

Don't like the open bathroom in a boat or a house. I don't know why architects think this is a good idea. Also the aft saloon outside needs to be under cover for regions with harsh sun like Florida and Australia. You would fry in the sun sitting outside. Would like to see a one piece windscreen. I think the Z 72 has one.

I love the graceful, classic lines of the Z55. Power from twin 1K IPS is AWESOME! The clever design of the beach club while retaining a gorgeous ass is brilliant. I just don't care for the layout...but, I would love to try to get used to it : ] BTW, Maurizio, if you ever need help while in the US, I'd jump at the opportunity to test with you!
Loving the reverse transom styling, but this execution is s little too bulbous and high in the freeboard - it spoils the shearline imho. Otherwise vessel is perfection. Bentley for the sea
What I don’t understand is why such a beautiful boat has the steering wheel in such an ODD position !! seating and driving a boat in that awkward position would definitely drive crazy lots of people. Unreal just when I thought was a perfect boat.
Zealanders are amazing but alot of wasted living area with that huge slope on the stern. The salon and cockpit could be much larger and more useful. I guess it's all about looks. It is gorgeous and I could never own one😢.

My thoughts exactly - once I saw the 72... immediately thought that the windshield needs to be the same on the 55.

So, ahh, how do you get to the tender? Can anyone tell me? A secret hatch through the cockpit and you duck as you launch it out?
there is a floor hatch on deck in both the 55 and 72 to access the winch for the tender- the 555 tender garage is tight- the 72 is huge.
So that's how you and the gusts enter it? And the winch carries both the driver and tender back into the garage?
