Thanks, Bondo. I still enjoy seeing good concrete work done. Learned from my German Mason dad as a teenager in the 1960's. Your dedication and work ethic would make him proud.
I’ve been a fan of Concrete with the Hauses for years, now I’m a new fan of yours, there’s something magical about professionals accomplishing a difficult job so precisely.
Said this before. It’s good to watch good tradesmen work together. I notice that your guys are able and willing to do whatever task that needs to be done. Very few specialists here.
Morning. I just wanted to drop a line to thank-you. You helped out with our in-floor install . I watched a lot of different vids and yours was the easiest to understand . You actually took the time to draw it out ect. So thank-you and well done Btw your crew is awesome.
great to see a site without everyone hanging out sipping coffee and tossin cups everywhere . Friend cleans up after builds and drywallers are the worst for leaving crap everywhere .
I like that building with the spray foam. My building is only 40x65 and it doesn't take long to fill it up with stuff and still be able to work inside. Mind has it's own meter with 220. I also installed the new led round lights which was better than the crappy ones that were up there. My building in Florida had metal I beams but it was only enclosed on one end except for the outer wall. The concrete in one stall had the electric run in conduit but was torn up from running a tract machine across it. I had to put in New concrete at both ends with the front getting an apron for the approach.
7/28/24..yo Bondo, this video 100'x60' floor with cc pumped #6 (?)Slurry & 15 men...big Wow! Excellent job! Hummm...think I hear big 'Beer30' on this one! A+ Bondo & crew!👍👍👍💪✅️😊 from New Orleans area, ya'll stay safe & carry on, ya heah?🍺😋
WOW!! What an amazing job!! Looks like it was a lot harder with the concrete being so wet. You have an awesome crew!! Sure can’t wait till it’s my turn.
Great job Bondo. The owner is going to have great pride in owning such a beautiful structure. Regarding the plug in the pumper line. I thought at first a meatball caused it. But it looked like they were taking away a chopped up pair of Carhart overalls. or some kind of debris. Glad they solved the issue.
How far ahead of time do you let the extra crew know of the job? And if I may ask, are they employees, 1099ed, or (*ahem*), perhaps they volunteer but someone feeds them pizza with cash on it 😉. The job looks awesome and it's fascinating to see the logistics, but I have to admit to being really curious on the business/fiscal end of things. Thank you for your great content and I really appreciate the good spirit you bring to these videos!
Great work….❤ 🎉 Curious. why no power screed. Doesn’t the power screed give you a better level finish. Less dips end result and the big bonus easier on the guys..
Why no pressure tester on the PEX pipe. You’ll have a heck of a time finding the leak later, no? That aside, great watching your guys pound through that pour. Very impressive.
@@bondobuilt386 I put you in the blessed department with that record. I’ve been designing RFH systems since 1988 with Wirsbo (now Uponor) as their factory Rep in W PA and now independently. I have a few war stories regarding leaks in systems after the pour that had no pressure test on them. That’s why I asked. I was interested and impressed by your stapling the PEX to the insulation then placing the mesh on top. That offers some protection. Anyway, I enjoy your channel. Concrete work intrigues me cause I can’t do it, especially at 75. Good chatting with you.
Won’t that crack around the corners of those trench drains ? The steel absorbs so much heat during the curing process and the high environmental temperatures almost assures DEF. Just an observation.
What brand and model laser do you use and do you recommend it or what do you recommend? I have a Dewalt one but it just crashed. Great work as always. Thanks
Seen a pour where they laid a length of 1 1/2" or so pipe in the floor where the roll up door comes down. to meet it It guaranteed a straight edge, the bump wont let water from a driving rain come in. mice cant crawl under it and ice wont freeze to it apparently.
Silicosis is not your friend. It's a good thing us older folks are catching on to using more PE. Sure as hell beats the alternative. My hearing is messed up.
Come on Bondo surely you're earning enough cash on UA-cam to splash on a bit of copyright licensed music for the sped up & time lapsed footage 😉 Was prob a shock to the system doing a large slab compared to the other jobs you been doing recently LOL
As a former Air Force veteran, I love me a well done concrete floor! This is one of the best ones that I have seen! That shine!!!
