Instructions by Loraine Prokopiou: Loraine qualified as a physiotherapist in 1995 and became interested in Pilates whilst doing a postgraduate muscle balance course. Loraine is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and an Advanced Level 3 Instructor on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). She also has a Master of Science degree in Applied Human Science. Loraine worked for the NHS as an outpatient physiotherapist for 16 years. As well as teaching for Mbodies Training Academy Loraine also now combines physiotherapy and Pilates on a private basis.

Is the rope setup same if I have a H1 refomer that is not as long as the normal redomer? With my setup I cannot put the straps into the shoulder pads. I used the machine in the past 1 year with shorter ropes compared to the setup that is in the video. Is there any difference between the rope lenghth setup in case of home and professional reformers?

The rope adjustment on the H1 Reformer is different to that of the A8 and C8 models. With the H1 Reformer you have 4 different settings and this is done by changing which hook the rope goes around on the underside of the carriage. This system is shown in more detail on the H1 Assembly Video. Any other questions please let us know!
