WOOHOO!!! 500,000, way to go!!! Onward to 1 million! Another great video Mike. I'm guessing the big 50! I know it was epic when I hit 50 a few years ago.....now I'm knocking on 70!
congrats on almost 500k! theres at least one viewer that brings stuff to the scrapyard i work at. he told me he learned to do it from you, its a scrap revolution you're leading. he asked if i watch you and i lifted up my sweatshirt to reveal a MTS shirt underneath :)
I like the fact that you are grateful for the little stuff and keep taking it, but its better when we see you get the bigger stuff too. Mind yourself jumping in and out.
Aw yeah, Mike's Down With the Stickness 😂 Dude, I love the ceiling fan, blade breaking sound effects! I still love this channel as much as I did when I 1st subscribed. Rock on Mike! 🤘
Someone's TRASH is Someone's TREASURE and we're going to call you TREASURE MAN MIKE!! Great Job tonight and it's always FUN to be WITH YOU TOO!! Thanks for the entertainment also Mike~~~~You DO make everyone's day for being able to HOP around and In & Out of those BIG Trash Bins! Keep up the Great Job and Happy Early Birthday! I had one on the 28th~~~~~76 years YOUNG........LOL
Sticks and pipes, a little John Denver & zombie walking! This STUD makes dumpster diving fun! Another great night ending with the view from atop to see all that was collected👏🤘👏
When you watch Mike, its like going to school, you learn the different metals, copper, brass , stainless, aluminum, extruded aluminum, you learn how to stack stuff in the truck especially on the curbside scavenging, and you get your exercise by jumping into and out of dumpsters, climbing up and down open-tops .
Yep, 60/61, 60/62, extruded, copper, red copper, yellow copper, bare bright, brass, #1 wire, #2 wire & on and on. I never knew they had so many ways of grading copper, aluminum or any metal for that matter. I always knew of the different metals & could tell them apart but I never knew that it was graded. NEVER! He's fun to watch & schools you at the same time! I wish school was this much fun when I was a kid! I would have loved to go dumpster diving when I was a kid in school. I would've wanted to go every day, heck 7 days a week! LOL! 😍😆😍 Throw some yard sales, estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, auctions, storage units, etc 😍😍😍 WOW! It would've been a dream life for me! I know it wouldn't of been that for everybody but I know there would be enough of us to have a school or 2 in every school district. They still don't teach kids stuff that will really help them in the real world. They should have that starting in 7th or 9th grade now. Construction, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, arts, etc. Teach the basics, reading, writing, arithmetic in elementary, maybe from kindergarten up to 6th grade or even up to 8th grade. By high school they should've learned everything they need to know by then. High school should be like a trade school only. If they taught kids how they should be (like they do in other countries) they would be ready for the real world in the basics. If they don't want to go into any of those fields they could have the option to stay in regular school & learn what THEY are interested in. That's just my opinion but I sure wish they would do that these days. When people are doing something that they really love, it's not work, it's a passion. It makes getting up every morning a lot easier & fun. You look forward to the day & life itself. There are folks who love tinkering with computers or programs, some who love sports & others are like us that love scrapping and/or buying & selling things from storage units, thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, etc. Wouldn't life be so much nicer & people would be happy (most days) hmmmmm (exhaling)😊😍😊
Aquí está el campeón vale su peso en oro digno de imitación pero hasta hoy no existe otro como Mike SCAVENGER buenísimoe las disfruté todas gracias muchas gracias hasta la proxima

I once found 4 metal shelves like that but only taller and all 4 were joined together! I ended up using them for my Back Yard Sales in Phoenix,ARIZONA. Those days are gone
Hey Mike, happy birthday!! Hey when do we get to hear your wife singin sgain? Thanks for all the adventures ive been subscribed since you had 500. Come a long way my friend and i still look forward to every new video!!
I've heard/read "y'all" more times in the past 4 months(when I found MTS) than my whole life of 75 years. Grew up in north East, worked in DC, now in DE. Getting used to it. 😊
Hey Mike, The TV i'm using now was sitting beside the dumpster when I took my trash out one day. They even left the remote next to it. It has some lines at the the top and bottom of the display but is still watchable. Good look with yours.
Mike! Please don't dread ANY birthdays. The alternative is looking up from under the grass, and we want you around for many many many many many many more years to come. Birthdays ROCK!
Well that was an exciting night, you scored some great stuff. Good for you and entertaining for us. I hope all is well with you and your new home and your family. Stay safe mate, but have fun as well. Regards from your friend in Australia 🇦🇺, Rob T.
Those pipes are perfect length for target stands. There are plate steel brackets you fit the pipes on little legs for each side and then slide a pipe through the center for the cross bar. Maybe look into getting some brackets and making a target stand package for resale.
It's just a number, it just shows how long you have been here.
Thanks for the shout out to John Denver, sure do miss his music. "West Virginia, mountain mama, take me home, country roads"......

Magic Mike making a killing again! Awesome run brother!
The fitting in the top of fire extinguishers is usually brass, so if you make sure it’s completely depressurised/empty it’s worth taking them off

Like I said last year, going for 800k subs for 2023! As always Mike great video and thanks for bringing us along.
Some people are so asinine, I swear. Walmart accepts used oil for free so there's no sense in tossing out. Great video as always!
I've had to hold on to it for months because they always tell me their oil drums are full. Lazy people will throw it out
Mike Congratulations on your Birthday happy 50th. I know that you are not in you 60's you jump around like you are a young guy.
Great score on the puthers, well done
awesomeness ... and a follow-up 😁👍
Happy 40th birthday mike
