A small group of (albeit exceptionally talented) people did for CTR what a whole game studio could not do for CTR: Nitro-Fueled: a 60fps patch, an ultra wide feature for a 25 year old game AND port it over to PC. I sound incredibly unappreciative with regards to Beenox and their CTR:NF, but it's still an amazing remake just for the fact alone that they (almost!) managed to emulate CTR's smooth, responsive controls and drifting mechanics - but I would be lying were I to say I am a little gutted we never got a frame rate update, or a PC port even if it would suffer the risks of having to deal with cheaters I hope we'll one day get a sequel to Nitro-Fueled, but with Rumble being a flop--despite being incredibly fun--I am afeared for Crash's future :(
