Great tricks and shirt. Thanks! 🎶
Ditto!
I'm deeply grateful for Graham's video series. They're right at my level and just what I'm looking for. I subscribed to your magazine after finding them. :) Thanks!
Dan Sanderson, I found the same thing to be true. I feel like I need to hear (learn) everything he says.
My rondo all turka will be overwhelmed with these techniques and it'll get faster than it ever imagined🤞🏻
Wonderful Pianist and Teacher ! Life-changing practice techniques for me! Thank you sincerely! I rather like the shirt and it seems to illustrate the last work you played; I'm sorry I don't know what music that is. I'm little by little catching up with all your video classes! A bit of a dreamer here when practicing. Your techniques applied help reign it in! Now, to build mental as well as physical stamina. I wish someone had taught these skills 50 years ago. Nothing to do for it except keep practicing. ❤
Again this is so focussed and brilliant in every respect in order to exercises a disciplined approach to learning a piece. Wow what an inspiration you are Graham. Thank you so much.
Wonderful! And What a Beautiful shirt!😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏
Wonderfully informative and such a privilege to be able to take on Graham's sagely advice from the comfort of our own homes. These are wonderful techniques to truly develop discipline and control, which in my case can take a back seat once I've developed a familiarity with whatever I'm learning. Big thanks from Sydney - Dave
The zen of practice. Mindfulness. Thank you.
Your tutorials are so helpful Graham, they have really helped to improve my playing. Thanks so much! Love the shirt ;)
Thank you so much for this two part lesson. I'm in the middle of trying to learn a very demanding piece, and this information was extremely useful to me!
I would say : probably the best video on youtube on that topic !

@@ganangaditya7572 It's uncommonly camp and suits him well.
Master🍷;)!
sick shirt graham, keep it real, appreciate ya
Thank you for this! So then do you do these techniques through an entire piece? So say your piece is 10 pages long, do you go through the entire piece in little measure or two sections using these techniques? Or is it something you do as an exercise do develop craftsmanship in your playing, but not used as a method in practicing the entire piece?
With respect Sir, when you say you apply the dotted rhythm, you actually demonstrate a double dotted rhythm, which, though it may be a stylistic choice, could possibly be confusing for the level of student you are aiming for, IMHO. Thank you for your work.
Ian Towers I think he was just using that word "dotted" as an umbrella term. He didn't specify dotted sixteenths.
Your Music is strange note for me. English is very powerful and music is relaxing for us.Thank You your paformans
Me:”how to speed up?”
Video:”stress Stress stress stress.”
and so on...
Do you have a tutorial on gaining strength on the weak fingers like the pinky and ring? Playing keys fast with them is such a struggle for me. Thanks :)
You can watch the wrist movement part 1&2
Qian Zhang Thanks

I recommend the first six of the Dohnanyi exercises for this purpose
Gerald Smith Marianne, The exercises are really helpful!!!!! Thankssss
Nice shirt
It's crazy I've watched two videos and there's things I've been doing instinctively. Things nobody told me or taught me to do. Of course there have been other times where the advice was totally new to me. Some of it was either logical or instructive to me.
what is the music at the beginning ?
Daedalus Daedalus Daedalus not sure :/ I'd also like to know. It's in Dm. And to me it sounds like Scarlatti or Couperin maybe
The name of the piece is Mein Leben hat ein End by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck. You can find it on youtube or get a copy on iTunes. It dificult finding the name. The piece is a delight to play.
