So incredibly gorgeous
The covers are so beautiful! I love them all but my favorite one is the beauty and the beast I think!
Beautiful book 😍🙏💗 I'm in love with all of her works , one of my favourite covers Is The Beauty and the Beast very delicated and elegant. ✨✨
Oh, I’ve always loved the cover for Wildwood Dancing, ever since I bought and read the book as a little girl! ❤
I like Eleanor of Aquitaine a lot. Thank You for all the beautiful books you are showing us and for your love about books. Have a Great New Year.
I would love to enter the competition for this stunning edition of Visions of Beauty. I’m a longtime fan of Kinuko Craft’s beautiful art work. My favourite of her cover art is Sleeping Beauty. I love them all though. Thank you for this opportunity.
I found this channel through Kinuko Y. Craft's account and I am so glad that one beautiful artist led me to find many beautiful books. I've been an admirer of her work for some time 🪷 Among my favourite covers I choose "Ombria in the Shadow", written by Patricia McKillip.
I absolutely adore her fairytale book covers, but I am entranced by her cover art for The Bell at Sealey Head by Patricia McKillip.
So many beautiful covers! I love her cover for The Bards of Bone Plain.
I love fairy tales and the Beauty and the Beast looks very intricate. The beast looks like what I imagined as a kid, before seeing the disney version.
My favorite cover is definitely the Twelve Dancing Princesses one. That book was one of my favorites when I was a little girl! It would be amazing if I could win this book!
what a beautiful book, every page is spectacular. Your channel has brought so many beautiful things into my life, thank you x
Hello! My favorite cover is Cinderella! I think because it takes me back to my childhood!
Absolutely one of my fave artists of all time! Would love to own this book. My fave work has always been the illustration from The Bards of Bone Plain by Patricia McKillip:)
I love her posters for the Dallas Opera, especially the one for "Das Rheingold".
So beautiful book!
Wow so beautiful my favourite cover is twelve dancing princesses one. I have found so many great books through you . ❤️😍
Kinuko Kraft is one of my favorites illustrator! So much poetry and delicacy! If I had to choose, I'll take the twelve dancing princesses as a favorite cover but they all are very beautiful ❤️
Choosing one favorite is difficult, but “Twelve Dancing Princesses” is very beautiful
Always so excited to see a new video from you! I've been enjoying reading the Kraft fairy tales to my son for many years now! Exquisite work!
Aw, thank you! I'm on holidays for the next few weeks so hoping to finish up a bunch of videos that I got distracted halfway through making last year (lots of work travel not very conducive to contemplative reviews...) 💕

@@BeautifulBooks oh wonderful! Thank you so much! Yes, of course I'd love to be entered for the competition! 😄🙏
Wonderful review of a wonderful book! My favourite Craft art work is the one she's done for Beauty and the Beast
I was introduced to Kinuko’s art through one of my favorite writers, Patricia A Mckillip. My favorite cover is the one she did for Wolfskin, though I admit I’m a bit biased. I love Irish wolfhounds.
What beautiful artwork! My favorite is 'monarchs' as it quite reminds me of Odette in Swann's way, who is likened to the beautiful young woman in Botticelli's Youth of Moses.
My favorite book cover at this moment is the cover for the art book itself: Visions of beauty. I was immediately drawn to that beautifil image. But I know Kinuko's stunning art also from the calendars: Women of Myth & Magic.
i LOVE the painting of “Morning Star” - totally captures the essence of Aphrodite born from the sea 3:43
The Sleeping Beauty art is absolutely breathtaking! Now I can't decide...should I buy this collection or Sleeping Beauty alone...or both?!
I do like Kinuko’s opera posters. They suit the subject matter of Wagner’s fantastical Ring. (I also enjoy the music you choose to accompany your videos!)
My favorite artwork is the cover of Wildwood Dancing. I think I've spent more time admiring the cover than it took me to read the book.
Lots of great options. My favourite cover is for "Elfland" by Freda Warrington.
I like covers that include the back cover, treating the whould thing as a canvas; so I'd say Ombria in Shadow is one of my favourites, the way one of the blue jewels from her hair is on the floor on the back is clever, the whole thing is lovely.
My favourite book cover is the vision of beauty deluxe edition art book so beautiful detailed cover makes me want to wonder into a world of wonder and magic and it’s so amazing too see all of kinuko y k crafts beautifully art altogether in one special book. Beautiful books review video really brings the beauty out of this special book and I would love to have a opportunity to win or even purchase copy one day. Thank you beautiful books for your amazing and inspiring videos can’t wait for more . Lots of love lilly ❤️❤️❤️
Stunning artwork and a new discovery for me thanks to this video. I’ve visited hervwebsite with her gallery of works and I do live her interpretation of Rhiannon , drawing shown in the early pages of your flip through. Beautiful ethereal works of art!
My favourite cover is “In the Forests of Serre” 🥰
I love Juliet Marillier's books so I had seen her art on some of those covers but I hadn't realized that it's the same artist who did covers for McKillip as well! All her illustrations and covers are so gorgeous and magical that it's hard to choose a favorite, but I think I'd have to say "Beauty's Cottage". I love the forest and the mountains in the background in that one. (And I'd love to enter the giveaway.)
I just discovered her artwork thanks to your video, is amazing how much detail Kuniko Craft puts in every artwork, ethereal and dreamlike; my favorite book cover is The Twelve Dancing Princesess.

I like the cover of the Cinderella book
People say, "don't judge a book by its cover", but that's exactly what I do when I see any book illustrated by Craft: I will immediately want to pick it up and flip through to admire the gorgeous art. My favorite picture book cover of hers is "The Twelve Dancing Princesses". I've seen many different artistic interpretations for that particular fairytale, but IMO Craft's artwork is by far the most mature and thematically profound of all.
I am so glad to be introduced to Kinuko's stunning fantasy art. The "CINDERELLA " cover took me straight back to childhood with the vivid colours, whirling magical beauty ....just gorgeous!
I absolutely adore Kinuko's Beauty and the Beast illustrations. The colors and details are gorgeous, plus they remind me of my favorite book illustrator from childhood, Marlenka Stupica. Kinuko's paintings therefore not only spark inspiration, they also give me a sense of cozy nostalgia, even though I haven't seen her work before.
I’m so glad to see others who love her art as much as I do! So difficult to choose a favorite but I’ve always gravitated towards “The Bell at Sealey Head”!
I would like to participate in the Visions of Beauty giveaway. ❤ My favorite artwork is Christina Rossetti’s Goblin Market. Thank you for this opportunity and lovely video.
My favorite cover of hers is Sleeping Beauty-in fact, a good friend recently lent me a copy from her childhood! I’m also particularly fond of her painting Claire’s Wings. It’s been my desktop background for a couple of months. I’m a first year art student with a strong interest in fairy tales and children’s book illustration, and Kinuko Craft’s artwork has persisted as one of my influences!
Oh wonderful! Would love to know which other fairy tale artists inspire you (I have many beautiful collections!)
@@BeautifulBooks Gennady Spirin is also a huge influence of mine! He currently lives in my hometown. His illustrations are conceptually and visually rich. The grain in his pieces creates a slight pointillistic look, which is beautifully unique.
My favorite cover would be that of Cinderella. :)
I'm so in love with Kinuko's MEDUSA. Absolutely stunning. I would love to have Visions of Beauty.
We own a few of the fairy tale picture books and I also happen to have Alphabet of Thorn! I’m partial to the cover for Wildwood Dancing because I’ve loved that book since my teen years. I hadn’t seen her images of regency women before
I also happen to own the Oz hundredth anniversary book and was surprised and thrilled to see her image of Ozma there
As an avid book lover, I'm so glad my love for Kinuko Craft's illustrations led me to discover this channel !! I've first discovered her artwork whilst reading "Wildwood Dancing" by Juliet Marillier, the cover she did for this book is beyond enchanting and I couldn't help starring at it before plunging into the book. Each time I did so I kept on discovering new details I hadn't seen before, and I think that's what makes her art so magical and unique. The worlds she depicts are so rich and vivid, and without even noticing you're drawn in and mesmerized. This book is simply beyond words 🌟✨

@@BeautifulBooks What an exciting giveaway!! Thank you for the bonus entry 🥰 My favourite cover art is Cinderella!
kinuko’s cover for beauty and the beast is my favorite work of hers ✨ i love the signature goldens and blues that she uses, really creates whimsy
The lovely music accompanying the gorgeous art book is fitting and uplifting! Thank you for this wonderful introduction into these books! Onward to more subscribers!
my favourite has to be bards of bone plain ;) this book looks untouchable treasure that's made by fairies 🧚♂ with magical gold elements. It's mesmerizing artbooks are my fav thing in the whole universe they inspire me to improve my creativity. love the book soo much whoever get's it is the luckiest person.
Another fantastic video! All the artwork is gorgeous but I’m going to be totally biased and choose Wildwood Dancing because I love the book lol
Every artwork of Kinuko craft's is magical 🪄 but my favorite is the Sleeping Beauty book cover! It's so pretty! 🤩💐🪷🌼
I am so glad I found this channel! Out of the book covers presented here I have to say that Beauty and the Beast is my favorite. Something so dreamy and peaceful about it.
I was initially drawn to Patricia McKillip’s books because of the absolutely beautiful covers. It was after buying several of her books I started noticing who the artist was behind all of those beautiful covers. In a world of computer generated images it’s wonderful to see and find out more about the artists behind the cover art on books and even records that I love.
Thanks for sharing the pages of Kinuko Y Craft’s book with us!
Yes, I collected quite a few of her cover designs with different authors before I realised it was the same artist behind them all as well 💖

@@BeautifulBooks Yes, I would love to be entered in the giveaway! Who knew a decision would be so hard to make concerning her book art? After much deliberation I’ve decided to choose The Tower at Stony Wood as my favorite. I noticed I loved the artwork on the back of her books more than the front.
Thank you for your lovely channel!🧚
So many beautiful covers 🤩 but I think my favorite is “In the Forests of Serre” a close second is “The Bards of Bone Plain” but I can’t help but love the darker tone of “In the Forests of Serre” ✨🤎🍃
What beautiful illustrations. I think 'The Twelve Dancing Princesses' is my favourite, I endlessly took out a copy from the library as a child.
My introduction to Kinuko was the cover for The Bards Of Bone Plain by Patricia McKilip. I love that image but all of her paintings are so beautiful and ethereal to look at.
The cover design of Patricia A.McKillip’s Od Magic is my favourite illustration but they’re all gorgeous. ❤
Kinuko Y. Craft has been one of my favorite artists ever since I first read Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier. It became my favorite book, and the cover art just adds another layer of magic. Craft’s cover art does such an amazing job of capturing the magic of the story and I could literally stare at it for hours looking though all the little details!
What a beautiful book

@@BeautifulBooks Great News! Thank you so much for selecting me to participate in the giveaway. My favorite cover/artwork from Kinuko is the Imperial Mirror, and yes, I would like to be included in the competition.
I fell in love with Kinuko’s art through the book Wildwood dancing. There’s so many beautiful illustrations in this collection but I’d still have to go with that piece.
Her art is to die for. I really enjoy her take on mythology, and one of my favourite artwork of hers is Pandora. But really, all her paintings are absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you for introducing me to her gorgeous art! It reminds me of some of my favorite artists, like Maxfield Parrish and the pre-Raphaelites.
What a gorgeous book! So many beautiful artworks and it's very hard to choose one! One of my favorites is the "Sleeping Beauty" cover. It's so magical and ethereal!
I love the cover art for Od Magic with the moon and mask-so gorgeous loved her work for such a long time-she’s a classic!
Hi I’m entering to hopefully win the book giveaway. I particularly like the haunting and ethereal illustration she made for the Patricia A. M. McKillip book Od Magic.
Stunning artworks! It is hard to just choose one favourite art in this book. All of them are beautiful! I love the Beauty and the Beast...also The Morning Star!
They are all so beautiful, but I think the cover for the "Pegasus" book is my favourite - she captures the kind of beauty I also imagined when I was a child. 💖
Great video!
I love the illustration she did for The Bards of Bone Plain by Patricia McKilip. That was one of the first books that I read that had her artwork on it. All of her paintings are stunning though!
What a wonderful review ✨! It's very hard to choose a favorite artwork from Kinuko Craft, they're all so enchanting and magical !! But I truly find "Pomegranate" absolutely dreamy, and the colors of this piece just blend in a magical way ! Looking at it is like stepping right into a dream, and that's what makes Kinuko Craft's art so special !
I absolutely adore her East of the Sun, West of the Moon cover, but Pandora and Return of Persephone are stunning as well!
She's my absolute favorite illustrator!
I know, her work is just magical ✨

Really beautiful but my favourite is Cinderella
Thank you, I learnt a little about this illustrator from your video. The “od magic” cover at 2:10 in the video is delightful, however the galaxy horse at 5:45 was prob my fav artwork I saw in this vid!
The book covers are simply gorgeous and would make any bookcase sparkle!
Thank you for taking time to do these vids, so glad I stumbled across you 😊
My favorite cover is Sleeping Beauty.
I choose Cinderella as my favorite cover, her dress is stunning. Please enter me in the giveaway. And thanks for sharing this book on your channel!
I love her art style! So magical. My favourite cover would have to be for Cinderella!
I know it's one of her classics, but 'Scent of Magic' will always be one of my favourites. It's so whimsical and ethereal!
I fell in love with the work of Kinuko Craft (who is my all time favourite artist) as a child reading Cupid and Psyche, but my favourite book cover would have to be Wildwood Dancing, how it is filled with all the details from the book and I keep finding new ones! Just so magic and her art is the perfect pairing for the Otherworlds of Juliet Marillier.
I've loved Kinuko Craft's art for SO LONG, I'm so, SO happy there's finally a collection like this! I think I discovered her through the cover she made for Wildwood Dancing, but my favourite of her works has to be the painting she made for the cover of Elfwood by Freda Warrington!
Amazing, look at all these comments ;). I love her artwork for its magical atmosphere and all the little details she puts in them (especially in regards to her cover art, you can always find some new reference or detail when you look at it). As for favourites, I do really like the book cover for „The Bell at Sealey Head“, probably because I own a copy of the book!
I'm partial to the ones I own books for as well!
It's hard to choose but I'm going to say that my favourite is The Book of Atrix Wolfe.
Pure beauté
For the competition The Book of Atrix Wolfe
Is an interesting cover art
Wildwood Dancing is the first cover of a book that I picked up because I loved the artwork so much and felt so intrigued by the art that I needed to know the story so that one is my favorite but my second favorite is Luna. All of her artwork is so stunning it's hard to choose just one, they all pull you in deeper the more you look at them. 💛
Thankyou 🙏 This is such a pleasure to watch and so beautifully presented, accompanied by lovely music and your beautiful voice giving so much detail of the art and artist whilst turning the pages. It has a nice flow. I was admiring a framed copy print of her artwork “Evening Serenade” on our lounge room wall this morning just before finding this treasure! I chose this framed print about 15 years ago to “decorate” at Mum’s house. At that time I almost didn’t choose it(I thought the colours wouldn’t match the lounge room) But there was something so beautiful calling to me. Now many years later I find myself treasuring this deeply soul-nourishing artwork that I almost didn’t choose. For some reason I am drawn to these artworks and this artist at this time. I am also in Australia. I love your work. I couldn’t find your name anywhere in the details 🧐
Hi Maria - thank you for taking the time to write and say such lovely things. Soul-nourishing is a perfect description for her artwork, and I’m so glad you listened to your heart and chose the print those many years ago. Daisy x
@@BeautifulBooks Thankyou Daisy ❤️ it was my pleasure to take this time to reflect.

All of her work is stunning, but if I had to choose a cover it would be "Sleeping Beauty". It is just so mesmerizing✨️
All of her artwork is so beautiful, but my favorite has to be the cover for “In the Forests of Serre” by Patricia A. McKillip. 💜
