@@joelquiroz94 yes, i see my original statement was unclear (although i wont edit it since I’m replying here). I was shocked to find that the PTX version was a cover, aided by the fact that i hadnt heard the song before. I imagine you knew this song before they covered it, though.

For some reason I swear Avi Kaplan sang this, I think with his A Cappella school kids. I can’t find it anywhere tho. No surprise Pentatonix would do a cover of it. Such a beautiful song.

I heard this song on Pretty Little Liars, it has a different meaning now. Tuesday morning, I found out a friend of mine lost her beautiful little boy of only 4 months. And now when I hear it, I can only imagine his beautiful face, and remember his little cries, and I bawl every time. This song came to me in the perfect time. I'm sure he took his mother's heart with him. :-(
This song is incredibly beautiful. The voices are magnificent! Now I understand why Pentatonix members have loved this song for 10 years and were so honored to cover it. Now I need to do a deep dive to discover more of the music of The Rescues.

The amount in which I relate to this.... I was in the exact same kind of relationship. And now I've met the man I know with every piece of me that I want to marry and have a family with. I've never been able to relate so deeply to this song until now.

This song is amazing!!! I had never heard it and finally found it on I tunes under 'Take my heart with you' by not by this group. I WANT THIS VERSION!!!! Left me speechless!!!
Interesting...the version heard on iTunes and other stores from the album recording seems less powerful than this version. To me, it's primarily because they took out the low bass voice part throughout the whole piece in the iTunes version. Also though, I personally think the effects they added on the album make it sound more like individual voices singing together, as opposed to one perceived voice that is a blend of all the singers, if that makes any sense. The tuning sounds a bit better on this UA-cam version as well.
Either way this piece is absolutely gorgeous and wrenches my heart every time
