@@NoiresTotsYeah seems my secret is out. :) Hope I did change it enough to fit a Destiny feel though. Wanted it to sound inspired by "Never Forget" but not sound like a copy.
Honestly floored by this, you've reached a level that's past just "fan themes" into a seamless recreation of the Lightfall 'style', even getting Laura herself? Insane. To see you go from your old fan tracks- which were already really good- into this in just a year is amazing. Hope you get more eyes (er, ears?) on this!
You know, most of these soundtracks feel like they could be the OST of the coming TFS Raid where we confront the Witness. Encounter 1: Aspiration, Parkour Section 1:Restitute, Encounter 2: Unfettered Chaos, Encounter 3: Determination, Parkour Section 2: Eternal Perfection, Encounter 4 (first battle with a Witness copy): Enough Death Witness Boss Battle: We're Here to Win
I like that. The use of the pyramid sound for restitute kinda feels like it’s starting to set in about what’s really happening and what you’re up against. Everything has led to this moment. You went in thinking “it’s just another raid” and did only the first encounter but then it’s like “wait, this is THE raid. We stop the witness or it’s all over.” I think that would be a cool use of the music and sounds design given to the witness and the fleet.
I hope the series is able to survive. Fan content like this just makes me realize how unexplored this universe really is. It deserves to be delved into in ways the game can’t.
TLDR; Your music literally makes me feel things So I have this thing called Frisson, which basically means I receive psychophysiological responses to certain stimuli, such as music or story moments, that trigger chills down my spine and cause goosebumps on my skin (Many of you reading this might get this too, and now you know the name of it!). One of the most consistent causes of this response is Destiny, specifically big story moments, like the reveals in Witch Queen, and the Traveler leaving at the end of Season of the Seraph. The music in Destiny has always caught me in the feels, and to this day, I cannot watch the Final Shape trailer without tearing up, it's impossible. Your Fan-Made Soundtrack is giving me that same sensation, specifically "Fight Forever", I have chills, and goosebumps, and I am blown away by your talent! It is amazing that your music is near indistinguishable from the stuff Bungie produces, well done dude, keep up the great work!
Wow, nice to put a name to this. It’s a really nice feeling. I remember getting it during the Savathun boss theme, when the music started reaching the climax during the battle. I only started playing when Witch Queen came out, but I think the music is really what made me fall in love with the game.
Man I've been obsessed with the Witness's motif as it sounds like the culmination of all the Salvation/Darkness tracks & how its done in Vide In Tenebris is beautiful, I personally believe the Veil's version of the Salvation/Darkness theme is the Darkness theme but w/o the Witness's influence on it & hearing the contrast between the 2 is amazing. Also hope we get the art for the thumbnail
I really enjoy the parallelism with Calm Before the Storm and Determination to that of Athanasia and Security Breach. You have the much more calm and tame version, and then you get then you get the version that kicks it up a notch. Absolutely love it!
This feels like a guardian fully succumbed to wielding the dark, and is now attacking other guardians, so you're ordered to take him out. It's hard for everyone to follow, but despite the pain, this is what's best.
I’m SO proud of you for pushing through with this! Hearing small bits and pieces from you over the last few months while you were making this has been amazing, and I can’t wait to hear what the final version of the album sounds like❤️
This is literally jaw dropping, the way you've so successfully captured the essence of Destiny's OSTs and melded so many leitmotifs from all 10 years together. Masterful piece of work that really demonstrates your love for the music. Amazing work
Had to come back to comment after listening to the whole soundtrack in its entirety. I hope you know how incredible this is, truly, coming from a longtime destiny player and OST enthusiast. Hearing the original themes from The Traveler and MOTS with Laura's voice was an absolute delight. Great melodic writing for the main theme, as well

The level of skill and dedication you've displayed is truly remarkable. I am honestly astonished by your ability to perfectly capture the essence of Lightfall's sonic aesthetic. The fact that you were even able to involve Laura herself is truly mind-blowing. Going from producing already exceptional tracks to reaching this extraordinary level is nothing short of amazing.
Restitute sounds perfect for a pale heart ambient. Even has the small ramp up toward the end with the Witness motif like alot of other ambients like discipline where the strings start to ramp up.
I love the incorporation of old theme's into new ones. A celebration of the Destiny ost combined to fit a Lightfall/Final Shape style. But also the Eirini soundtrack "I see you Halo 3 Never Forget piano rift". Whilst not exactly the same it has the same feeling to it and it fits so well.
7:46 Hearing The Ecstasy from MotS here genuinely made my jaw drop and gave me goosebumps. Excerpt From The Ecstasy has been one of my favorite tracks from Destiny and to hear it in a new light like this was AWESOME. I'd genuinely believe you if you told me this album was official and from Bungie themselves - it might as well be! Stellar work!!
Not much else to say that others already have said, but FUCK does this hit man. Amazing track, so much love and time poured into this, and it's evident in the music. Amazing that you got to collaborate with Laura on this too, that amazes me and it caught me off-guard when I heard her voice lmao. And not only that, you’ve demonstrated a really impressive understanding of the different themes across different parts of the game. I wish you could like a video multiple times cause I’d be here clicking the button for hours
its interesting how you use the veil as the background image as the background and the way its used is so deeply interwoven with the many ways people experience certain aspects of their life that brings them insight of who they are and what our potential is individually and collectively. Namaste
Are you sure you're not an ex-Bungie dev? This is absolutely mind-blowing, it sounds like it's official... Definitely one of my new favorite song sets. And the little visual for the video is just mesmerizing... it looks exactly like the Veil, so cool to look at.
I put this on in the background whilst I did other work. There were several moments throughout it where I had to tab back in and check that it was the same video. It really sounded like it had gone on to autoplay some Halo ODST soundtracks or something of the like!
This soundtrack feels like it’s turning my life around. No more depression, desire, needs. True balance of life. (Broski, I would love it if you could figure out a way to post this on Spotify. I will cherish it like a newborn son.)
This is the type of music you would here before a bungie live stream playing new unreleased content. Reminds me when I was watching the House of Wolves PoE reveal live with Professor Broman, Deej, and Matt Sammons... Man I miss those days D2 nowadays just isn't the same what so ever
Not sure if anyone caught it but Eirini sounds like a certain fan favorite Halo track. Love that you sampled Never Forget and breathed new life into it that feels like Destiny. Also made it feel more somber. For those that don't believe me, just play the two on top of each other and it'll be immediately apparent.
Not even exaggerating when I say this is 10x better than the Lightfall OST. Hoping we get something half as good as this for Final Shape. Keep up the incredible work!
"We're Here to Win" is such an awesome title for a song, and it really conveys a specific vibe extremely well. I feel like it's a little less high-octane than a lot of the "triumphant music for when you rush in guns blazing," type tracks, but still conveys that same sense that your determination is finally about to pay off in an inevitable success. It's just that instead of adrenaline and excitement, there's this sense of focus as the path ahead becomes clear. Bungie should honestly consider hiring you.
There are some real gems in here that I would gladly listen to in-game. I'm honestly amazed that this game has a fanbase so loyal that they make fan-made OST. Respect, good job mate.
One of the best sound tracks I have ever heard. When the witness and fleet were introduced, I fell in love with the sythn of the darkness sounds and the emotion behind them. I hope the team for final shape takes some of these ideas because this music can easily be played as we ascend into the monolith of the witness in the battle that will affect the outcome of humanity. Also, Laura has a Valkryie style singing voice outright flawless. Each track has a purpose for what the witness wants to which is truly something to think about when it comes to him enacting the final shape and what he wants for the universe. Love this whole soundtrack but my favorite soundtrack is eternal perfection how this track could be used to show the witness enacting the final shape piercing the pale heart and freezing everything in time itself as we guardians fail is one of the most important factors in the story and how that possible cinematic could play would be mind blowing. It's been an honor to fight alongside all of you as we prepare to cross into a different universe in a timeline where the darkness is about to possibly win, no matter what when we encounter the witness, we destroy him for all he has wronged and most importantly for our best friend Cayde 6.
Track 01, Fight Forever, sounds like it could very well be the intro music for the title screen of TFS. If I didn't know this was fan made I would say it's straight from a bungie leak. Absolutely outstanding.
i'm confident that the Darkness motif was specifically designed to cause a reaction from your flight or fight response (the goose bumps and tingle up/down your spine is the nerves related to it doing stuff)
I'm barely even past the first track and this is already well done. I'm really hoping the theme of bringing instruments and motifs from past tracks continues!
With Salvatori and Lewin laid off, I don't see why they wouldn't hire you. I could play this in the background of a raid, and not realize it was fan made. Amazing work!
There are no words to describe how beautiful this is, literally speachless. I'm already looping the first one,a piece of art indeed. It's so wholesome that you also got Thr Laura Intrivia for this. Purely Amazing.
Absolutely incredible! I love all the motifs from vanilla destiny 2, and more like hidden truth in enough death, guardian, ect. Really shows the passion in the making of these, as well as bungie’s vocalist helping with these tracks. I give this a hell yea and a half
One of the shortest but Desire was beautiful, Eiríni was amazing, Vide in Tenebris was great but I love my pyramid themes👏, Solid work throughout though 👍
As awesome as this track is it makes me think of a voice line they chose to use in The Pantheon: Shaxx yelling at the top of his lungs; "FIGHT FOREVER, GUARDIAN!" as a hail to the fact that you slay a certain amount of enemies in a very short succession. Combining this with the fact that if one strips away all the dancing, all the silly moments, Destiny's story is profoundly sad, our hero did not choose this war. And then we're reminded why we SHOULD fight, when the Darkness and Witness' motif cuts in and silences the vocals at 1:30. That is what the Witness wants, sudden and enforced entropy upon all things. Utter, and final, stasis. Phenomenal music. :)
I need to go to bed but I think I can tell I'm going to like this already. EEEKk.. So far it could definitely dpass for something amazing! Will get back to it after work!

All this work from one person into making music better than d2 development teams is absolutely astonishing keep going man
Extremely destiny-esque, i love it
I need to go to bed but I think I can tell I'm going to like this already. EEEKk.. So far it could definitely dpass for something amazing! Will get back to it after work!
They're gonna need you for Final Shape. Idk what they're gonna do without Michael Salvatori
Don't worry they got the soundtrack finished before the layoffs.
