BEST DAY EVER riding through Slovenia mountains E27

BEST DAY EVER!
We start in Ljubljana, Slovenia and visit a Cyanometer, which is an instrument for measuring the "blueness" in the sky.
It is attributed to Horace-Bénédict de Saussure and Alexander von Humboldt.
De Saussure concluded, correctly, that the color of the sky was dependent on the amount of particles, water droplets and ice crystals, suspended in the atmosphere.
The Cyanometer in Ljubljana is a beautiful art piece right in the middle of town.
Next, we do Drive-By-Tourism of Dragon Bridge.
There is a legend that Jason, the Greek mythology hero, was the founder of Ljubljana, and he and his Argonauts killed a dragon, which is one of the four dragon statues on the bridge.
According to local legends, when a virgin crosses the bridge, the dragons will wag their tails. Also, some local people have nicknamed this structure "mother-in-law" because of its fiery nature.
Next, we stop in Zgornji Tuhinj, Slovenia and a) take in the beautiful surroundings in the mountains, and b) learn something new about the area. Back in the 1400’s, during the Turk invasions of Europe, villagers would run to the top of the mountains, where their fortified churches were located, and start a bonfire. This bonfire would notify the local villagers of an impending invasion and to make their way to the church for protection, plus it would notify the next village over of an impending invasion. This allowed local villagers to take refuge and also track the invading army.
Lastly, we ride through the Slovenian countryside and arrive at our AirBNB in Kranjska Goro, Slovenia.
