Suggestion maybe not snap or photograph where you are till your vacation is over. This is something I learned from law enforcement a long time ago. Many celebrities and influencers do not post a vacation until they are done with it for safety.
Great advice! Kim Kardashian is a good example of this where they broke into her hotel room in Paris and she was held at gunpoint. It was all because she was constantly posting about her trip and showing off her new bling.
I recommend you never posting your whereabouts until you leave the place, especially if you’re alone.

I think the call was an accident, because you can’t even call a specific room in a hotel. You have to call the hotel and ask them to call the room number.

You can do it if you are in the hotel with a house phone.
I would have been totally freaked out too lol... I think you can connect to a room if you know the room number, you just call the hotel and select that option, then dial the room number, or at least that's how it used to be, but the only time I ever use the landline in a hotel, is to call the front desk. (I'm too cheap to splurge on room service lol 😆😆) I hope it was an accident... So creepy!

From someone who works in a hotel you usually can’t call directly to the room from an outside phone, it usually needs to be connected through from the front desk. Maybe there was a member of staff that gave out your personal info/connected someone through that they knew but played dumb when you asked? If this was the case it’s a HUGE breach of confidentiality! You should check with the hotel if you can call their phones from outside the hotel! X

Not necessarily. I also used to be a hotel manager. If someone has your room number and they are calling from within the hotel they don't have to go through the front desk. They can just call that room.

I used to work in a hotel and you have to be careful. It is surprisingly easy to find out someone's room number. Even easier of they are staying in the same hotel. Always make sure all entrances in your are locked if you alone, asleep and in the shower. Just incase someone gets ahold of a master key. Also, check your snap chat and make sure your GPS is disabled on there because people can see where you are the map and pin point you. Stay safe and it was very smart to take down that snap. I would also invest in some pepper spray and a defense key chain. I know it might sound extreme but all women should carry something to defend themselves just incase.
